What a day! Yesterday, I finally graduated high school and am now just chillin'. Sadly some of my other friends don't graduate/escape from school til Friday or next week or whenever. Either way I'm aready out, so I'm just going to lay low til this heat wave blows over. Anyways, down to serious business. I have written a poem that I would like to share with anyone who wants to read it. Iwrote it on my birthday and I want to know what others think of it. Just be honest about how you felt about it. It's called "My Connecticut Wilderness"

Why are you so pale and teary-eyed little girl
Why are you so pale and teary-eyed?
What makes you so sad that you
Sit here in this window seat and
Stare at the clouded sky?

I'll tell you why I'm pale and teary-eyed sir
I'll tell you why I'm pale and teary-eyed!
Every day since I've left, my heart has
Been in mourning, crying out, reaching out
For my Connecticutwilderness!

I miss my never-ending pine tree mile
I weep for my stretched-out brooks so ever idle
I ache for my never-ending forests
And I hurt from missing my ever abundant valleys
O! how I truly hurt! I wish to only walk in
those mysterious, magical, beautiful forests of my
Connecticut wilderness.

So now you know sir, why I'm pale and teary-eyed
Now you know.
For every time on a day much like this
I sit and think about my Connecticut wilderness
And although I'm haapy here and greatly enjoy your company
I only know too great
How I miss my Connecticut wilderness
O! how I miss my Connecticut wilderness!
