Chapter 2

School was ended badly thanks to Bowsera little incident. Pikachu was hurt, but not to badly. He would be able to come to school tomorrow, but wasn't aloud to fight, or do anything dangerous. Everyone had already left school for the day, but Kirby. She was part of a club that stayed after school to clean up a bit. So far, she was the only one in the group at that time. It wasn't like all they did was clean up, they just need more people to actually call it a club. Kirby sighs some as she finishes up. The sun was already setting and she hated to walk in the dark. Kirby shut the door to her homeroom class, locks it then heads down stairs to her lock. Once there she switches her shoes from school shoes to home shoes then heads out. It was already night time by the time she left the school. Kirby slowly walks down the left side of the side walk. Kirby takes a left then starts walking that way. Her home was some ways away from the school. Kirby sees a ally way which was quicker to her house then taking the road, though.....she really wasn't supposed to go down that way since it was dark and many different horrible things have happened down there. Kirby thinks for a few seconds before shrugging and walking down the road. Not going down the alleyway. After what had happen today, it would be no fun for her to get in trouble. As Kirby walks down the street, a few lights around her start to flicker on and off. Since she was around the store part and they were closed, there lights were off too."This is weird..."Kirby says to her self as she starts to walk again as the lights flicker. She looks up at the lights as they continue to flicker before going out."Eh...."Kirby looks around some to see if any other lights were on. None were on, every where else was just as dark."Damn it..."Kirby continues on her path to her house, which wasn't that far now. She could already see the lights to her house. She smiles some as she does.

Kirby then starts to run towards it before coming to a stop as she sees weird black and purple gas balls on the ground. She slowly walks toward it to see what it was. She looks down at it before it slowly rises up and become tall men in all black with white eyes. Some had weird glowing swords while others just had their fist. Kirby starts to walk backwards in a attempt to run, but was stopped by even more of them. There was about ten or even twenty of them surrounding her. "Cr-crap..."Kirby quickly turns around then swings a huge hammer at one, making him fly back into two others. They then start to stand up after a bit and move closer to Kirby. Out of shear fear, she starts screaming and swing her hammer around and around. Hitting whoever she could or whatever she could. A few got hit, but others dodged then soon got a hold of her."N-no...stop it."She was helpless, she was pinned down by the strange men. Suddenly, a arrow with fire around it flies out of no where and hits a group of the men then spreading to the others. The men that were hit burned then turned back into the black and purple gas balls before disappearing. The men look up then look around for the person who shot it. Another arrow, this one ice, flew out and hit another group. Turning them into ice then breaking into piece. There was about five of the strange men left. Them looking around. Kirby was still held down by two of the men while the other three looked out. One with a sword, other just had their fist. From the shadows of a alleyway a man in suit with yellow short hair appeared. He was holding a sword and shield. His shield had Hyrulian symbols on them. This person slowly walked toward the things, not saying a word. The two men who only had their first ran toward then man in the suit. The first one threw a punch at the man in the suit, but was quickly sliced in half. The other one jumped up and tried to spin kick him. The man in the suit just ducks then spins, slicing him too. The last weird man with the sword ran at the Hyrulian, attempting to slash at him. The Hyrulian blocks with his shield then slashes him with his sword. Cutting the last one now. As the last one disappears the Hyrulian spins his sword around then sheaths it in his back. He then starts to walk away.

Kirby, curious gets up, dust herself off then runs over to him."Um-ummm hey!" Kirby gets in front of him then smiles."Th-thank you."

The Hyrulian nods then starts to walk, but Kirby walks in front of him again."No your welcome? Can you at least tell me your name?"

The Hyrulian scratches the side of his then tries to talk, but no words came out.

Kirby blinks a few times as she heard nothing."I see, you can't talk, because I am a stranger. Is that it?"

The Hyrulian just looks down, all gloomy as he was being misunderstood.

Kirby just smiles, not really knowing before holding her hand out. "Well, let me introduce myself. My name is Kirby. What is your name?"

The Hyrulian takes her hand then shakes it, still not speaking.

"Ehhh, still nothing?"Kirby starts to pout."Some gentlemen you are." She turns around with a 'hmph'.

The Hyrulian sighs then waves his hands as he was misunderstood again. As she turns around, he sees she was wearing a backpack. He quickly reaches in-

"Hey!"Kirby turns around with a mad face."What are you doing?! Don't you respect people's belongings?"

The Hyrulian just took out a piece of paper and pen then writes his name down on it and hands it to her.

Kirby, blinks a few times then reads it."Li-nk....Link? That is your name? Link. Why didn't you say so?"

Link takes the paper from her then writes on it again before handing it to her.

Kirby takes then reads it again."I don't have a voice to talk with."She blinks a few times."Really now. That is interesting.

Link nods a few times before starting to walk away. Kirby jumps back in the way again."Hey, do you go to Smash School?"

Link thinks for a moment then takes out another sheet of paper. Kirby takes it then reads it."So you will be going there tomorrow then? Cool, want to join my club?"Kirby smiles with pride as she says it.

Link thinks for a few seconds then nods his head a dew times, smiling.

Kirby jumps up and down excited to hear she has a new member."Yay!! Here."She writes down her cell number then gives it to her."Just in case. Either one of us is in trouble. Anyway, I should go now. I will talk to you tomorrow at school, ok? Bye-bye."Kirby hugs him before running to her house.

Link blinks a few times before watching her run to her house. He shrugs then starts to walk down the street to his house, which wasn't that far from Kirby's. About three houses away.

Kirby goes up to her house which had two floors. And was pretty wide. She stayed with her sister Meta. Kirby opens up the door with her house key. To the left of where she was, was the kitchen of the house. In front of her were the stairs to her and her sisters room and bathrooms. And finally, to the right was the living room."I am home Meta!"Kirby takes off her shoes before stepping up on the hardwood floor then running up stairs.

Meta was coming out the showers at that time and had a pink towel around her and one around her hair. "Didn't I say knock before coming into the house?"

Kirby stops then pouts."I know, I know. But I had to hurry in, some strange men were after me and thi-"

"Strange men?!"Meta starts to run to her room for some clothes to put but was stopped by Kirby.

"It is ok, someone named Link saved me. He was a nice guy and will be at our school tomorrow. He also joined my club!"Kirby smiles a lot after she says it.

Meta sighs then walks over to her bed. She sits down on it then looks up at Kirby."Looks like I will have to join your stupid club now too to make sure you don't get into any trouble. Plus, you are not allowed to be at school alone with boys."Meta nods a few times then takes out her dark blue sleeping clothes.

Kirby smiles and nods then takes out her pink sleeping clothes."Alright, alright. Maybe even more people will join tomorrow. Hehe, I can't wait!"

Meta goes into the closet, changes then comes out. Kirby had changed at that time too."Who knows, just get some sleep for tomorrow." Meta and Kirby's beds were almost right next to each other. So they pretty much went to sleep at the same time.

"Well, until tomorrow. Good night Meta."Kirby goes into her covers then clothes her eyes.

"Good night Kirby."Meta soon got into bed then closes her eyes too. Both of them falling asleep.

The next day...

"Good morning class."Fox says as he leans against his desk. The class responses back."Good morning teacher." Fox laughs some then turns and writes something on the board. It spelled out 'Link'. "Today class we have a new student. His name is Link." Fox looks towards the door then gives a nod.

The door to the class slowly opens then in comes Link wearing school clothes and still having his shield and sword on his back.

"This is Link class. He can't talk to please treat him well."Fox smiles then pats Link on the back."Your seat is behind Meta."

Link nods then goes to the window then sets behind Meta, him smiling some.

Meta looks up for a few seconds then back down.

Link's smile soon turns into a frown then he takes out his school materials.
