Star & Sunta Vs. Lein

Late one night...

“Please, don’t hurt me” said a poor civilian. “To late” said a dark, evil voice. “COME TO THE SIDE OF THE SHADOWS ” screamed the voice. “NOOOOOOO ” screamed the civilian. Too late. After a beam of dark magic light, the two people disappeared.

The next morning...

“Another one disappeared, huh?” said young star. “Yep” said the merchant. “I keep telling everyone to stay off the streets at night, but not everyone has your sense Star.” said the merchant. Star was quite wise, especially for her age. “All the people in this town are just to stupid to listen to common sense.” she said. “Exactly” said the merchant. “You should get home Star. Its getting late.” “Okay” said Star.
Star was an orphan. She was found on a hillside after a major fire in her area of the village, and the merchant found her, and raised her. He raised her until she was able to count money, cook, make a living, and being able to make good decisions.

Later that night...

Later that night, Star laid on her bed. “I can’t just stand and watch people keep disappearing” She thought to herself. “But what can I do?”
Suddenly, Star’s cabin started to shake. Star Quickly ran out, wondering if it was an earthquake, but then, she saw the God Zeus before her. She could hardly believe her eyes. “You must be Star, am I correct?” asked Zeus calmly. Star nodded her head. “A-are you Zeus?” Star asked. She still could not believe her eyes. “Yes... yes I am” he replied very calmly. “Why did you come here?” Star asked. “Let me show you.” said Zeus. Zeus opened up some sort of portal, that showed a bunch of people that looked like slaves. It was easy to tell that they have not had food for many days. “There is a powerful man named Lein.” Zeus told her. “He is responsible for all the disappearances.” He is the son of Hades. I sent a spy to his castle, and the spy just barely got back alive. He told me that he found out that Lein is trying to kidnap civilians, brainwash them, and give them some of his power. When he has enough people, he is going to try to over power the Gods and Goddesses. “Why are you worrying so much then” asked Star. “He is just a half god, right?” “That is correct.” answered Zeus. “But even a half god can get even more power than the gods if he has enough followers.” “I see” said Star. “ I have heard you, and I can tell you really want to help.” said Zeus. “Yeah. I really do. I just don’t know how I can do it.” said Star. “I’m not powerful enough.” “That is why I came to you as well.” said Zeus. “I wanted to give you a power. A unique power that only you will have. A power that will have a chance of beating him.” “Okay” said Star. “What is the power?” “Well, I am going to mix some power from the moon with my power of lightning for you.” “Wow ” said Star very enthusiastically. “Just wait one second” Zeus said. Suddenly, a huge burst of light came from the direction from the moon. At the same time, A huge bolt of lightning came from Zeus’ palm. Star watched in amazement as Zeus combined the two powers. About a minute later, things calmed down, and in Zeus’ palm, was a shape that looked a little like this –> . “Eat that” said Zeus. “When you eat that, you will get the power I wanted to give you. “Sure” said Star. Star ate it, and suddenly, a huge rush of energy flowed through her. “Listen to me Star.” said Zeus. “I need you to go on a journey to find Lein. On the way you must find a boy named Sunta. I have given him combined power of fire and my very own lightning. Once you find him, go to Lein’s castle and fight him.” “Wait ” said Star. “How am I supposed to find this guy? I don’t even know what he looks like ” she exclaimed. But in the blink of an eye. Zeus had disappeared. In his place though, was a well drawn profile of a boy around her age, and a sword and dagger. There was also a note. The note read: “Star, the profile in this pile is a profile of Sunta. Also, the weapons are for your survival on the journey. Give one to Sunta. I met the boy, and he did not seem very responsible, so I decided to leave them with you. Good luck.”

The next morning...

Star was outside her cabin. She had her bag with all the things Zeus gave her. She walked into the woods.

Later that afternoon...

Star was still walking. She figured that if Zeus told Sunta he had to find someone, Sunta would probably be in the woods searching for cities where Star might have been. “I knew this was going to be hard, but I had no idea it would take such a toll on someone. I gotta rest.” she said to herself. A couple of minutes later, she heard a scream. “HELP, HELP” screamed the boy. “Star followed the voice to what seemed like a huge wolf, bigger than an adult male, basically killing the boy, probably for food. “Y-you...” said the boy weakly. “P-p... please help m-me...” The wolf stopped trying to kill the boy, and took a bite at Star. Star quickly dogged. She didn’t look it, but she had great reaction and timing. She took out her sword. In the blink of an eye, the wolf was trying to bite the sword in half. The wolf was doing quite well unfortunately. “What am I gonna do?” Wondered Star to herself. Star suddenly remembered the starlight power. That is what she decided to call her power from Zeus. Star tried transferring her power into the sword. It worked “Wow” she thought. “One second I think I am dead meat, and the next second, I’m able to stand up to a 7ft. Wolf monster.” All the power from the sword was able to break the wolf’s teeth. “Sorry wolfie” said Star. “But this is what happens when you mess with someone with a cool sword, and awesome power.” “Star stabbed the wolf right in the head.” Instead of dying though, the wolf was disappearing. The wolf was growling some words. He was saying: “I warn you... Lein is a powerful man. Much more powerful than me. Defeat him for me... he turned me into a slave.” The wolf disappeared. Star could not believe what she was hearing. “Why that little-“ thought Star.
Before she could finish her thought, Athena suddenly appeared. “You must be Star. Am I correct?” Athena said. Star nodded her head in awe. “Wow” She thought. “First Zeus, and now Athena appears to me? Today must be my lucky day.” “Ummm... Star?” asked Athena. “Are you still there?” Star was to busy staring in awe. “Wha-? Oh yeah” Star said sort of stupidly. “Listen Star” said Athena. I will heal your little boyfriend-.” Star stopped Athena there. “This guy isn’t my boyfriend” she told Athena. “Whatever” Athena said. “Anyway, I will heal this boy for you. Also, Zeus told me to give you this message.” Star took the message. It read: Star, time is running out. Leins army is rising and it is getting more powerful by the second. You have to get Sunta and find him. There isnt much time.

“That wasn’t very helpful” said Star. “I know” said Athena. “But all of it is true. You really don’t have any time to waste.” “Ok” said Star. “Good” said Athena. Athena went over to Sunta and healed him. “He should wake up in a little while.” “Ok. Thank you very much Athena” said Star. “No problem” said Athena. Before Star’s eyes, Athena disappeared.

Later that night....

“Ugh” grunted Sunta. “What happened?” he asked in a very dazed sort of way. “You passed out.” said Star. Sunta stood up at once as if he was scared of something. “I-is that wolf thing back?” Sunta asked. “No” said Star. “Here” she said offering him some soup. “Nah” he said sort of rudely. “I don’t need food.” he said. “Oh great” thought Star. “I have to go and fight Lein with some guy who thinks he is to good to accept food from a girl who saved his life.” “You know” said Sunta. “You didn’t have to go and help me. I could have beaten that thing myself.” “Yeah... sure you could have.” said star sarcastically. “We have to get to bed. We need to get to Lein’s castle by tomorrow. We don’t have much time.” “Ok” said Sunta very carelessly. Even though neither of them seemed very nervous, neither one of the two were able to get any sleep that night.

The next day.....

Star and Sunta left bright and early the next morning. Although Sunta was looking to pick on Star a bit, neither of them were able to talk. At last, they got to Lein’s castle.
“This is Lein’s castle?” Star wondered aloud. “It’s sort of empty. I guess they heard I beat that wolf and saw how strong I am.” Star said very proudly. “First of all” said Sunta. “That wolf just randomly attacked me when I wasn’t expecting anything. Second of all, I beat a wolf just like that one when I left for this journey. And last but not least, Lein is behind you.” “Come on.” said Star. “Don’t try to trick me like that.” she told Sunta. “She isn’t lying.” said a dark and calm voice from behind her. “Don’t tell me that’s Lein.” Star said very nervously. “I’m afraid I am” said the dark and calm voice. “I am honestly surprised that you were able to make it this far.” Lein said. “It’s to bad I will have to kill you right here and now.” Lein rushed at Star faster that she could blink. Before she knew it, she was on the ground, just barely awake. Lein did the same thing to Sunta. “And just to be sure you don’t wake up, I will have to put you up against the forces of gravity.” Before either of them could realize it. The air in the room started to get very heavy. “I SHALL WATCH AS YOU SUFFER UNDER THE FORCE OF GRAVITY!” shouted Lein. “Su-Sunta” Star said very weakly. “Use your power..” “Ok” said Sunta said very weakly. The two put their hands together. They summoned their powers to their palms. Suddenly, There was a huge explosion of light. A minute later, the explosion was starting to clear up. Lein was on the floor almost unconscious. Star and Sunta started to stand up. They began limping toward Lein; Star with her sword, and Sunta with his dagger. The two of them held their weapons to Lein’s neck. “No, please! Spare me!” begged Lein. “As Star was about to say something, Zeus appeared once again. “LEIN!” screamed Zeus in a very angry way. “I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU FOR TRYING TO OVERTHROW THE GODS! YOUR PUNISHMENT SHALL BE HORRIFIC FOR YOU! FROM THIS DAY ON, YOU WILL BE DOOMED TO A FATE OF FOLLOWING OTHERS FOR ALL ETERNITY!” “NO, PLEASE. SPARE ME!” begged Lein. To late.
To this day, Lein follows people against his will. He is split up around the world so he would never be powerful enough to try and overthrow the Gods ever again.
If you are wondering what happened to Star and Sunta, Zeus gave them a wish. Star and Sunta wished to be able to watch over people and protect them from Lein if Lein ever did come back into power. They also wanted to watch Lein suffer all over the world as payback for the torment he caused many people. Originally, Star and Sunta watched all day and all night, but then, Zeus kindly split them apart. So, Star became the guardian of the night, or as what we know them as today, the stars. Sunta became the guardian of day, or as we know him today, the Sun. All was, and still is, ok.... for now anyway.
