*dances* Today was Kitta's birthday! ^.^ She started out in the morning about like I did on mine.. Not really wanted to be a year older ninja But after a walk to the store to buy cake and stuff for dinner, she started cheering up ^.^ Then I drug Dad out to blow $100 bucks on presents for her 3nodding $15 of which I've still got and am planning to let her spend tomorrow at this garden store thingy we've always wanted to check out *nods happily*
Anyway, Dad was really nice and patiently waited in the car while I ran around between the bookstore, party supply stores and a Target whee Oh! And this was my first time wrapping her gifts all fancy like, but she got a kick out of it *giggles* and she says I did a wonderful job! (this from the queen of perfect wrapping ^.^)
Dad got in on the act too, he's got this thing for making weird gift presentations xd So when I couldn't find the box I wanted for this adorable white stuffed tiger, he made one ^.^ It was awesome! There's a big box, with a little box inside.. Both cut around the middle so it hinges open... And I'm not quite sure how to describe it, but I'll try ^.^; The inside box has little holes cut in it so the tiger paws could stick out (in the most adorable way!) and when you open the big box, it pulls the little one too.. So the effect is you see tiger paws as it's opening, then the cutely posed tiger inside the little box heart Yeah... Anyway, it was a bit of a pain to wrap <.<;
The other stuff we got her was two mangas (Fruits Basket, and Tsubasa), a CD (Breaking Benjamin, something on they darker side, 'cuz she doesn't get to listen to it very often), a pack of Yugi-oh cards, a necklace/earring set (little slanted silver hearts with shiny stone things in one of the bumps).. And a card with a picture of a fluffy cat with a bird on it's head - "A little birdie told me you were a year older", then the inside is the same pic, only the cat is smiling and all that's left of the bird is a feather on it's mouth - "Don't worry, it won't tell anyone else" xd Yeah.. and I doodled cute little animals on the front of the envelope ^.^; not the best ever, but she could tell what was what.
Oh! And I made her mac and cheese for lunch ^.^ along with mexi-corn (both things she hasn't had in forever, but used to love) then lasagna for dinner! (which is another favorite ^.^) And we watched 'Death to Smoochie', which is something she loves too. Then Dad remembered the ice cream cake we went on that walk to get ^.^; so we ate that! ... Or at least part of it o.o That thing was really, really rich @.@
Yep, so all in all, it was a great day ^.^ Other people's birthdays are way more fun! So now that the cake has worn off, I'm headed to bed ^.^ Have a lovely Thursday and hope you're looking forward to the weekend!

The Silver Lining of White Chocolate Clouds
This *makes a big waving motion at the page in general* is my 'journal' of sorts ^.^ I seem to be using it for thoughts and doodles... along with the occasional rant *nods*
