I'm just waiting for Cat to shower so I can go next and then I'm seriously getting to bed... But I had an awesome day! *bounces* We drove up to Canada, stopped at a mall a ways before the border to wait out the traffic then made it all the way to Vancouver. ^.^ Stopped at a grocery store on the way, just 'cuz Dad said it was fun to see all the different brands and packaging (he was right *laughs* they've got ketchup flavored chips o.O and stuff from Kellogg I've never seen before.. Oh! And it's not Nabisco up there, it's.. um.. something else >.< Slipped my mind.) and kinda skipped eating lunch.
Came into Vancouver proper through China Town and stopped to walk around. Ended up in a little traditional clothing shop, and bought stuff o.o It's so pretty!! *huggles the clothing* I got two things - one of those shirts with the high collars and loop holes... I'll draw it.. Or take a picture or something.. anyway, it's red and then this long, blue dress with a dragon pattern ^.^ The side slits go really high o.o; but it's just so pretty heart We'd parked in this 'public parking' thing, and didn't really read the sign before we left... but when we got back, the gate was down @.@ this really nice security guard told us the place closed at 6pm, and that we normally couldn't get our car till tomorrow... but he'd call the guy with the key, and that it'd cost $20 to get in but we could get our car. sweatdrop
So after the other nice guard let us out Dad drove around downtown (right through one patch of hookers and hobos o.o; there are a lot of homeless in that city...) till we found a place to eat *nods* We were gonna try Russian, just for the heck of it, but we ended up eating Greek instead *laughs* I thought it'd all be French or something, but there was just about everything, and a lot of sushi joints too. Cat and I were still feeling adventurous after not getting to try Russian, so we ordered quail xd Never again... but it was an experience ^.^; I really don't like eating any kind of bird with most the bones still in it <.<; just... weirds me out.
We'd heard there was gonna be a fireworks display, and asked the waitress at the Greek place what it was about. She told us it was the finally of three weekends of celebrating something.. she wasn't sure exactly what.. and that they would start at 10. After eating, we decided to skip them, and just head home, but we got kinda lost <.<; couldn't find one of the bridges... So we ended up seeing a few on our way out ^.^ They were very big, bright and pretty 3nodding After that, it was just a very long drive home @.@ Oh.. and Cat's done, so I'm a'gonna go to sleep now *smiles cheerfully and waves* Have a wonderful Sunday!! Oh.. And I should actually be here tomorrow.. Sorry guys, I know I've been gone for two days.

This *makes a big waving motion at the page in general* is my 'journal' of sorts ^.^ I seem to be using it for thoughts and doodles... along with the occasional rant *nods*
