So, I don't really have time, but I wanna type a synopsis.
Chem day was pretty amazing! I had so much fun and it was definetly worth going to! For our first round of the chem bowl we accidently played an AP team and lost, but it wasn't the right match that we were supposed to be playing, the coordinators messed it up, so we basically got a freebie and it was pretty cool, xd
The second round of things we pretty much dominated the other team of boys was astounded at how fast we were getting the answers. And then the second round (our third time) the questions were just really hard and stupid and our team guessed more than the other team did, so we lost, but I don't feel too bad I guess, ^^'' I'm just sad that we didn't get to go any further. There were individual events too, but they were pretty stupid and I didn't really like them and I'm fairly certain I did really bad on them. There was titration which I honestly had no clue what I was doing in, and I know that I failed that lab. Then there was solubility, and that was weird and I'm pretty sure I messed it up. There was balancing equations, and I didn't do too well on that, there was a nuclear equation that I was uncertain on how to graph and so...yeah... Then there was an organizing of a periodic table and I think I did really well on that one, but I think I took too long on it, I sat checking it way too long, and I didn't need to spend that much time on it. Then there was the identifying elements and I'm pretty sure I screwed that one up too, all of the events were timed and I think that was what was screwing me up the most, I don't really like timed stuff very much, it pressures me too much and I think about it too much, sometimes, unless I forget in which case it hurts me because I'm not using my time efficently enough.
After that there was nonclature bingo, that was pretty fun and entertaining and I won the first game of the whole day! Yay! ^^
And um...I think that's pretty much it, it was a fun and enjoyable day overall, and the questions in the finals were fun to participate in! ^^
