Lots of things to type and I'm much too tired to type it all out today, lol. I'll get it all down tomorrow though, so look forward to it or something, not that anyone else reads this anymore anyways. blaugh That's okay though, its mostly for my own benefit later. ^^
Mmmm'kay, here goes nothing I guess. ^^
So on Friday I had the field trip to CU and it was pretty interesting, there were lots of things to see, but most of it other than the projects I had already seen and heard before. The projects were fun to see and interesting, but I'm still not sure that I would be able to do something like that and really have fun at it which is why I'm almost certain that I won't be doing any kinds of jobs like that, lol.
Then, after the field trip on Friday I had a tennis game, it was very easy, and I feel kinda bad for the people that we played, they weren't very good and Jamie and I trounced them, XD we won 6-0 and 6-0 and it wasn't only that they weren't very good (they were probably about as good as I was last year, so its not that they were bad, just that we were better I think, ^^'' I swear that I'm not trying to be mean...) we also weren't making like any mistakes, we played basically a perfect game and it was really fun! ^^
Then Saturday was an entire day of tennis, and man did that make me tired! XD I was falling asleep almost as soon as I got home and I ended up going to bed shortly after 9:00 something that is very rare for me! XD
At the tournament we only played a set of 5 games and if both teams got to five games we had to end it in a tie and that really bugged me because I hated leaving it at a tie, I would so much rather we had won or lost, I hate ties so much now! We ended up losing the first game (against the team that later won first place I think, they were in the finals for second or third place at the end) and then tieing the second, third and fourth games and then winning the fifth game and our final game, leaving us at seventh place out of twelve. Which is pretty good, I think the teams that we played were very well matched for us and all in all I had loads of fun, although it was very, very tiring, the games lasted forever, almost 45 minutes to an hour each game with barely ten minutes to rest in between each one, and between our fourth and fifth (I say "our" to mean me and my partner) we had literally just sat down when they called us to go and play our next game, it made me so sad, lol. XD Even though I say that while laughing! I got through it very well and I'm very proud of how I played. My partner was someone that I had never played with before so I think we did really well in getting over that and still playing very well together! I'm also very happy to say that I think I hit some of my best volley's ever, I don't think I've ever done as well at it, and it made me really proud! But, conversely with that I think I was hitting some of my worst baseline hits and I don't know why that was. I hit some shots that were really good and awesome, but most of them were just light and lazy hits and I don't know why, but I just didn't have the confidence to try hitting any hard or dangerous shots. It was a weird day for me, and at the end I was getting really frustrated at myself because I kept messing up and just couldn't seem to get myself to do anything right, and of course I didn't have any time to sit and work it out with myself before having to go back on which only frustrated me more as the day went on. I started really strong and seemed to wane as time went on and I hate that, I don't like playing like that, it makes me disappointed in myself. But, overall I'm happy with how the day went, I made some extrodinary saves if I do say so myself! ^^
Uhm...oh yeah, the only really bad thing is that I got majorly sunburnt...^^'' My face is dark red, and because I was wearing sweats my arms and legs are still just as pale as ever, lol. So...its basically just my face, hehehee...XD
I also have blisters on the balls of my feet, my scalp is sunburnt and I'm fairly certain that my eyes got sunburnt too...they were red and were seriously hurting yesterday, not to mention that every time I make an expression with my face it hurts because the skin is all wacked out, but...heh it was worth it for the most part now that its all over, the sunburns will fade and I'll still have the memory of how much better I got at tennis. biggrin
