the unpleasent people in my life...
My day has been pretty dang weird. o.0
I watched this movie today with a couple other people. It was a pretty old movie called "Phenomenon" and it was about this guy who sees this flash of light and suddenly becomes all insanely smart and stuff. It is pretty cool...well that part is at least. The main character is played by John Travolta. And his name is George Malley. I swear the Grey's Anatomy people must have been fans. George O'Malley? Wow. Subtle...
Anyway, he's all sorts of smart and so he's reading all these books (at least 5 a day...I'm so jealous). And he is solving all these problems and stuff. And he's making all these improvements in solar pannels and fertilizer and stuff (he lives on a farm).
But he can also do this freaky stuff, like telekinesis and sensing ULF wave things (Ultra Low Frequency waves = Earthquake's a'coming...).
It's pretty cool.
But he ends up messing with the government because his friend has a radio and he can make out the morse code even though it is really really fast.
If you were like me, you'd think this movie sounded pretty cool. And it is. Except for the end. The end was...bad.

I said that he had all these abilities because he could access all of his brain, 'cause people can only access about 5% of their brain or something. And it turns out that he had a brain tumor that let him do that. When the doctor announced that, I shouted "BURN!" at the person watching it with me. He didn't believe me when I said it the first time.
But the brain tumor ends up killing him. Just randomly too. I hated it. That movie had just about the worst ending EVER. Except for High Crimes, which had the weirdest ending ever...

Another odd thing that happened to me was that I was writing earlier. That in itself wasn't odd, but I kept thinking about giving my main character, the one who's shy and introverted, a new friend. And so I ate Chinese food later and my fortune said something about a new friend can lead to something good...or something. And I was like 0.0 "OMGsh!"
On the Gaia forums I read about a man who's having a baby. Odd? I thought so, but maybe that's just me. People kept going on and on about their views of transgender people...it was certainly different.
And then I saw someone with this in their signature:
I just laughed and laughed and laughed.
And that is how bizarrely odd my day was today.
Not mentioning the racist/sexist pig who talked to me on IM today.
I have toe-socks on, and I'm happy.
