I just have to say that I'm proud of myself for making some random sketches this evening. A friend of mine managed to get me so inspired, that I almost jumped out of my chair and knocked my laptop onto the floor. About halfway through sketching anything I could (poorly, I might add), I decided to try making something a little bit more awkward: robotic eyeballs.

Yeah, I was screwing around with heavy sketch lines and I suddenly make this little metal eyeball with a single, flexible, metal tendril that was scratching it's head. I then proceeded to make three more, and added in some text for kicks. Their dialog is pretty funny, actually.

The first one asks "What am I?" while it scratches it's head.

The second one is pointing at the first and appears more shocked, saying "Holy s**t! A floating eye!"

The third is waving it's little tendril around frantically and it's iris is devoid of shading and color, so I had it say "Where?!"

The fourth one is sitting on the floor, not noticing the scene at all, seeing as it's dilated and dizzy. This one simply says "Colors..."

They're actually kinda cute when I look at them again. I should keep these guys as reference for later when I want to keep making adorable robotic things.
