Revelations 22:5

The world is swallowed by a darkness so dark
It pulls and it buries all thoughts of the heart
The light is hated
The light is shunned
But above all this, it is feared

The darkness is growing, it stifles their screams
It plays in the night in the worlds of their dreams
Why is the light hated?
Why is the light shunned?
Why, when it saves, is it feared?

The darkness is a monster, it has claws that can kill
It plays with you, lusts with you, breaks your weak will
Still the light is unwanted
Still the light is unknown
But soon, the light will destroy the dark's throne

The darkness wins the battles
But the light will win the way
The light is slowly shining
And the dark will be no more

"And there shall be no more night; they have no need for lamplight or sunlight, for the Lord God will illuminate them and be their Light, and they shall reign as kings forever and ever, through the eternities of the eternities."
