So today I had another tennis match and it was a home game. The team we played didn't have a fourth doubles team, some eligibility problem, but my partner and I played against the other teams number two and three singles people. We did very well I think, we just made some stupid mistakes that kinda screwed us up a bit. But, that's okay, we're getting better! ^-^ I had some awesome hits and some good net time, but my serve isn't any better, that's still something that I really gotta work on. The game was unofficial so it didn't really count sad But, it counted to me! The score was 2-8 we lost. This just means that I've got more to win to make up for it! 3nodding
Yup! And btw I was way, way, way more tired today than yesterday so I'm pretty surprised at how well I did. XD
Oh, and also today I had an interesting day in my US History class. We had presentations about the roaring twenties and I had to present today. I have to say I did really well. I have a really good knack for doing stuff like that on the spot, I just get up there, start talking and things work themselves out and before you know it I'm talking and can't be stopped. ^_^ It was pretty simple and easy. But, it was a group presentation, and the other person was kinda unprepared, so I had to come up with three questions (almost half, lol) right there on the spot that related to our presentation, which was actually pretty short with not a whole lot of information that wasn't already being asked in the questions, but! I did it! Yay! XD
And then before that, there was a presentation about the new women of the 1920's and that was so entertaining. They did their presentation and taught us all the stuff, and then we did the game that they made to test our knowledge. XD It was entertaining. It was a relay race! An interesting one. They had two pink dresses, high heels and a necklace. XD We had to dress up in the stuff and then run up to the front of the class, do a dance that was in their presentation and then circle the question that we wanted to answer. XD So, the thing you gotta know is that my group was all guys except me and another girl...XD And that other girl wouldn't have dressed up without murdering someone...XD Also the teacher somehow ended up in my group too, XD (If you can't tell by all the xd I'm still really entertained by this) So, the first time a guy that was in my presentation group got voted to wear the dress in my group(for the game) and the other guy that was in my presentation group was voted to wear the dress for the other group. Our group won that one just barely, the guy had issues answering the question, but we still go it. XD The next time when we were trying to figure out who would be in the next race they were trying to figure out which dance we could do. gonk That was when I had to be stupid and tell them that I knew how to do the shimey...XD I was sooooooooooo embarrased about it though. I had to learn how to partly do the shimmey for the play that I was in in eighth grade. Soooo, they forced me to do it and I somehow got myself into this dress that is like 8 inches too long for me, XD I ran up to the front of the class and shimmied and I'm sure that my face was red...xD which...isn't much different than usual, but it was prolly more red! XD And then the questions were no problem, I answered before she even finished reading the question, hehe. And then for the third and final relay, somehow my teacher was convinced to participate in the relay...XD He put on the dress and was having issues with the heels...xD so, he didn't get up there before the other group and he lost, but people still took pictures on their cell phones! XD Blackmail! XDDDD It was really funny! But, we still won with two out of three. :3
