Yeh. Getting older is a funny thing- well, being all of 22 I know that sounds ridiculous, but there it is. It seems like one day I was sluffing classes to go watch anime and eat take-out mexican with all my girl friends then we all went to seperate universities across the country- everything from Dartmouth to a community college in California. But we'd still make time to see each other as frequently as possible for swing dancing, old fashioned sleepovers, or parties. Now, I don't know. Jen's back from her internship with the Washington Post and when she graduates this fall will probably move back to DC to do more with that paper, Kelley is finishing her book and its almost ready for publication, Shannon's worked at the US Embassy in Guatamala and now just bums around the world, Andie's on her mission and will probably get married when she gets back, Erin's already married and grew neither for the better nor the worse- only seemingly the annoying. So, now I'm wondering what I want from my life before I make a comitment to any graduate school. The balancing act of personal relationships in the face of a career that can have you living in Subsaharan Africa for two years is rather daunting.
