It's snowing right now ... a gentle snow starkly contrasted against the velvet black of this winter night. It's one of those times that make my heart ache and my hands reach for my camera. Each delicate, individual flake caught the light and glittered with rainbows. They were more like miniscule shards of crystal than anything else, and I didn't even mind my bare feet against the frosted wooden planks as I watched them fall. They lingered in my hair as tiny white blossoms before I melted them with my breath.
No matter what happens, go on living. The bad can never outbalance the extraordinary good in this world, the exquisite pleasure of pure and simple life that is always worth any suffering. I can never lose my joy in life, not when there is a memory to preserve. And there will always be memories. I will always be there with Persephone....
