Here's my story: so my mom and I come home after dinner and there's like and inch or two of snow on the drve way and it's still snowing. I decide that I want to go out ans shovel instead of making my dad go do it. So I go out and shovel a fourth of the drive way, the area in front of my front door, but then I decide to shovel a path down the sidewalk to my backyard like my dad does. I go back there and shovel and start walking back to the front. IMPORTANT INFO: The gutter drains right on sidewalk to the backyard. When ice melts, it comes through there and freezes on the sidewalk. I forgot that and walked over that section. I slipped and landed on my butt. Either my left hand got slammed hard onto the ice when I fell, or I accidentally crushed it under myself (I don't remember sweatdrop ). Right after I fell my hand it started throbbing really bad. I looked at the front of the house and found out that my dad closed the garage, thinking I was inside. I started to scream, and after a minute my mom finally noticed and my dad came out and got me. I had my arm iced for an hour and we left for th ER at 10:30. They took their sweet time and it was around 12:45 when we finally got out. But that's not the best part. Halfway on the ride hom,e, my dad realized he forgot the x-rays of my arm there. So we drove all the way back, picked up the x-rays and drove home. I got to bed at around 2:00 AM. So I'm sitting here typing this with one hand, and my other arm is in a soft cast held up by an uncomfortable sling. Why me?
