My parents both agreed to take to my mouth a chainsaw.... :(
That's correct folks, my mouth is a gaping bloody wound for 2-3 years.
Well....it sure as hell feels like that, at least. I now officially have BRACES. They were put on today, and the constant ache is killing me.
For those that know me in real life, I know it took a long time, but they finally took the useless old brackets off and put the newer, more high-tech fast ones on. "Speed-brackets" they're called. Speedy or not, my mouth is the victim here.
And guess what else? To continue my treatment, my Orthos (just my little nick-name for my othodontists) will have to remove four bycuspid teeth so the braces work better. SO, in 2 weeks I'll have a dandy time at and oral surgeon's, IV on hand, four permanent teeth being wrenched from my mouth, while I snooze away, oblivious to the assault held against me.
Lovely.
I won't like it one bit, but damn it, I want my teeth straight! scream
(sorry for the rudeness, but the pain felt in my mouth right now provokes me, so bear with me.)
