* normally quiet without much to say unless a particular topic catches his interest.
* tends to think a lot of things through, and can sometimes seem indecisive

* he works hard to get through school without problems; some believe this is to get attention from his mother
* though seeming passive and apathetic in everything he does and says, he can be quite convicted and stubborn, and does care very much what happens to those around him.

* He's never known his father; his mother never told him more than that he was the product of a drunken accident with a man she never saw again. Part of him wants to know the man, another part doesn't
* He's never gotten along with anyone in his family; his mother turned his brothers against him at a young age, and he's pretty isolated within his home.
* Due to Jin's uncle owning a tattoo and piercing parlor, Ryan found a fascination with tattoos and started turning a lot of his artwork into things people would want.
* Lives in the apartment above Jin's Uncle's tat parlor after moving out of his mother's place during a particularly nasty argument
* Though he doesn't realize it until the Mirror is unsealed, he has a kind of ESP that allows him to sense demons; he's felt a strange presence all of his life, but ended up pushing it aside thinking it nothing

Occupation: sports instructor at a local rec center
Personality Traits:
* Sometimes considered 'loud and obnoxious'; he likes to talk and always says what's on his mind, normally before thinking. This sometimes gets him into trouble
* Though he usually acts stupid around people, he's actually quite intelligent, particularly in math and science
* He's a very active individual and has a hard time sitting still; if he's not out playing a sport or moving around in any way, he often 'fidgets' or messes with stationary objects.
* Though he sometimes has a hard time accepting his own looks, he does love his hair, and is often seen messing around with it in mirrors
* Always loves to argue his point, and often does not see when he is wrong, always unwilling to admit to it
* Very impatient and impulsive, he seems to do things without thinking first of what could happen to him
* His temper is horrible; he is easily irritated, and can be quite explosive

* He often doesn't understand the relationship between Ryan and his mother, since his own relationship with his parents is quite strong
* He got Ryan a job at his uncle's tattoo parlor
* Though he excels in math and science, Jin just wants to do some sort of sport and has been working toward a basketball scholarship

* She can be brash and loud, outspoken, and she often stands up for what she believes in or supports, and will let anyone know if she disapproves of anything; she is very strong-willed
* Sometimes, she's seen as a little morbid, and people fear her curiosity and love for all things related to occult and horror
* Her feminine side only shows around things like soft fluffy animals, cute stuffed creatures, and attractive guitarists of her favorite bands.
* She's an extremely creative individual and her imagination sometimes runs away with her
* Though she will not openly admit it, her physical appearance bothers her, and she takes a lot of time picking out clothing and messing with her hair in the morning; she is not, however, so concerned as to be modest around her friends

* Some of his outward gestures are genuine, but mostly he hides his real thoughts, preferring to put on an air of arrogance, thinking it'll protect what's really a very insecure individual looking for attention
* His physical appearance is very important to him, and he has a love for unnatural clothing and strange outfits that he feels suits his mood from day to day
* His arrogant and sarcastic demeanour has several people distrusting in his true intentions when he offers some for of assistance, no matter how earnest he attempts to be
* To people who know his arrogance is an act, he is very mysterious, choosing to keep what he really thinks or feels to himself; they think him withdrawn, reserved
* His act makes him seem disloyal, shifty, shady, but the truth of it is that Xi-Ling can be quite loyal and passionate about protecting those he cares about
