For my birthday (five days before Christmas), I spend the day lazily. I didn't have a cake, but my mom says that I'll get one eventually. My dad brought me a dozen roses, and my mom said that he should have given me eighteen, since I was turning eighteen. We went out for dinner later in the day and then watched the movie Enchanted. It was funny. XD
Since it was so uneventful, I'll just give a list of what I got for my birthday.
My brother got me a Final Fantasy III.
My mom gave me a Sims 2 expansion pack.
My grandma gave me a check for twenty dollars.
Both of my parents gave me some stuff to completely redo my room.
My grandparents gave me twenty dollars, too.
Everyone else forgot.
For Christmas, we went to my grandparents house after we opened stuff up at home. Other than that, not much happened.
Here's a list of what I got for Christmas.
My brother gave me Harvest Moon: Rune Factory.
My parents a couple shirts, some hair ties, and a flashlight from my parents.
My parents also gave me a navigational system for my car and a black i-Pod mini.
My grandparents gave me one hundred dollars.
My aunt and uncle gave me some perfume and a pretty bottle to put it in.
My two cousins on that side of the family (both male, who are in their late twenties/early thirties) gave me earrings and a necklace.
I love spending time with my family, but I didn't get to spend any time with my mom's side. Everyone was busy. -sigh-
Some other time, I guess.
Anyway, Christmas wasn't all great. My grandpa, who loves to complain about every ailment he develops, told me all about how the doctor had found about a hundred polyps in his colon, and how it might develop into cancer. He'll find out in a day or two if it's harmless or not. I hope it's harmless, but you never know...
It is getting really tiring, though. As soon as one person gets over something, or gets back from the hospital at least, then another problem arises with someone else. It's never ending, and so very stressful.
So, I got a few presents for my birthday/Christmas from my Gaia friends. For that, I am very grateful. Thank you, everyone!

So, all in all, it was a good Christmas/birthday. I hope all of you had a nice holiday, too! Since it isn't politically correct to just say "Merry Christmas" anymore, I'll just end this entry saying Happy Holidays, and have a Happy New Year, everyone!
