Yay! I really, really hope that everyone here had a wonderful Christmas, I think I did for the most part. I'm gonna start with yesterday. I went to my mom's side of the family yesterday to spend Christmas Eve with. Idk what it was, but everyone just seemed to be in a snappy mood. They were kinda mad and yelling at the little kids a lot from what I was seeing. Not sure what it was, but I still mostly had fun anyway. The only reason I really haven't been having fun during Christmas is because right before Christmas...I get a cold... gonk makes me really sad.

So I've been sick and getting worse the last two days and that makes me kinda sad.

But ANYway, from those relatives, mostly so I don't forget;
From my aunt A. ,Uncle D, and cousins C. and W. I got a $20 gift card for Borders
my Aunt M., Uncle M, and cousins C. and S. I got a $25 Best Buy Gift card
my grandparents got me $50 and a red sweater that I'm wearing right now...XD

On my dad's side who we celebrated with today it was just kinda tiring, everyone was really tired, and so a lot of us were really cranky, (me being among them since I'm bad at going to bed early when I have to...at those times I tend to go to bed at like 2:00 in the morning, which is what I did...XD). We ate breakfast and then went downstairs to open presents. But...I have to say that one of my aunts is really...Idk the word right now, lol. But she gave my brothers and I $5 less than she would have, just because last year she didn't get thank you cards from us, so now she has come up with a policy, that if we send her thank you cards, she'll give us $20 instead of $15 and if we don't we'll still get $15... stare RIGHT...well I just don't think that I like to waste(...I know sorry waste...its a bad word), but I just don't think that I should have to thank her in one sentence for a gift card, what can you really keep going on about after that? I have to pick out the present myself (once again, :p not trying to make it sound the way it does, picking out presents isn't that hard) and you really can't take up more than a few sentences thanking her for that, and why send a piece of paper saying that? Why can't I just thank her in person for it, and maybe some other time later thank her in person and tell her what I got for it? Saves paper and postage, so fine, I think she can keep the extra $5 thanks...
[[Besides, I know for a fact that she and my other aunt write the thank you cards for their kids and then just have them sign it, and my mom and dad just don't have that kinda time, and I never feel like it...]]

ANYway, that's really all the negatives I have to say, it was a lot of fun anyway, I got to be entertained watching my cousins stupidly kill themselves... rolleyes
Presents:
Aunt C., Uncle J. and Cousin C. gave me a $15 Borders card... stare
Aunt D. Uncle B. and cousins N and K. (sidestory! XD She made me read her silly Christmas poem that she wrote this year....aloud...it was stupid... stare sorry to say I just really think she thinks she's better at poetry than she really is. In my honest opinion I think she writes grade school, or middle school level poems and she flaunts them about as if they're the greatest poems ever written in rivalry with Shakespear or something, it bugs me a lot, since poems shouldn't be made to rhyme in weird ways like that... xp ) I got a $20 bill. (WHICH BTW she wouldn't allow to be bought for her kids! She forbid anyone to get her kids cash for Christmas this year, you had to buy them some visa gift card that required an activation tax... stare my relatives I tell ya....and they're really only crazy on my dad's side and my mom's the crazy one! eek Tells you why I'm so nuts right...?)
And finally, my grandparents, they got me a $35 borders gift card and this really pretty porcleian box from India with pink flowers made from seashells (I think) on the top! It's beautiful! And inside it had earrings in it, but my ears aren't pierced so I can't wear them.

My padres got me a game for my DS (Mario Party DS if you care, lol) a beautiful Amethyst bracelet that was $75 eek (Don't tell them...but I already knew 'cause I looked for it and found it earlier... blaugh wink ) and two $10 gift cards from Borders, and then a $25 gaia cash card that I have to find...'cause I lost it....^^;; (I've had it since the beginning of November...and I lost 'em! T-T) And I believe that's it, so basically I get to decide all of my gifts this year...sad huh? XD

It's all good though, how about you all?



Christmas is coming can you hear Santa's bells?
Ringing and ringing away in a simple melodious beat?
The wind stirring up clouds of white fluffy snow all around you,
Surrounding you in whips of snow until you can't see anything else.
And then you see out in the middle of everything and nothing a light shining not far off,
Bright and cheerful the light bounces closer bringing warmth and cheer,
Pure happiness in the form of everlasting love.

The bells are ringing singing you a lullaby,
Singing, singing, lulling you to sleep,
Rocking you in a gentle caress of music till you forget your troubles.
Asleep in the comforting tunes of Christmas,
Sleeping soundly until the sound of feet on the roof rings through the house,
For that's when you wake to rush down the stairs!
And while you hide in the shadows listening to the crumbling of the chimney,
Down comes Santa big in red and white,
Carrying a huge bag of gifts galore,
One for every boy and girl,
All of the children everywhere opening gifts Christmas Day.
The sounds of ripping paper replace the bells.
Echoing soundlessly in the distance are the hooves of Santa's reindeer,
Heard only by the carefully listening ear of those who believe.

The sound slowly fades to be replaced by paper being crumpled, and snow falling softly to the ground,
Piling up higher and higher until you can no longer make it out the door,
An early snow day is on the horizon, can you wait for it?
No school 'cause we're out for Christmas,
Tons of good soft snow to play in,
Igloos and snow walls as far as the eye can see, snowballs flying in all directions,
Isn't this what the spirit of Christmas is all about?

Christmas comes and goes every year,
Do you remember what you did last year?
Or the year before? Do you remember all your Christmases?
If you do, that's rare, because for everyone, some Christmases should outshine others,
And that's just the way Christmas goes
So stick with it every year,
And eventually you'll come upon a grand streak of unforgettable Christmases!

The Christmas holidays,
With Santa, snow, and Reindeer,
Christmas is already ending, its flying by fast
So grab ahold, and keep it in your grip,
So that next year when it comes by again you're ready and prepared.
