Two things I have to remember. The other morning, I woke up with my dream still in my mind. That hardly ever happens any more. I remember a man and a woman in a sort of control room. The floor was made up of grey metal squares, and the wall was panels of the same material. There was a large control panel with maybe eight to ten monitors and spaces for people to sit taking up one wall. The man and woman were standing away from it, talking about something that had been observed. I think this room was on Earth. Their group or whatever had seen a spaceship, more a Star Trek or Stargate type ship than a flying saucer/cigar shaped thing, and they were calling it Santa Claus. I think it had red lights. They discussing what it could be, why it was there, and what they would tell people. Not the public, because I think they may have been part of a government agency. They didn't know what to tell their superiors, I think. And they were worried about it. That's all I got.
The other thing I want to remember wasn't a dream, but a thought I had before going to sleep. Five or six people were in a cemetery beside one of those large monument tombstone things. This one had a slightly rectangular base, around two or three feet tall, with a feminine angel statue on top. The angel had large wings, a long, sort of shapeless dress that ended on the base, and a female face. Kind of teenage girlish, maybe. It was light-coloured stone, like a light marble, maybe. The angel . . . let's see. I'm thinking four to five feet tall, but that sounds off. Maybe the base was two feet and the angel was four feet. That sounds a little short. Maybe the whole thing was around seven feet. Tall enough that the angel's mouth would be a bit above an average person's head. One person is standing right in front of it, and the others are maybe four or five feet away. So, the person closest to it reached up and rubbed the angel's mouth with their thumb. Then, the angel's expression changes. It has a twisted, insane sort of grin. Then it opens its mouth, the person's thumb slips inside, and it bites down. The person screams and tries to pull their hand away from the angel. The angel grabs the person's arm below and above the wrist, and twists until the bones break. It keeps pulling and twisting until the hand is completely off. The person falls on the ground, and the angel eats the hand in a realistic sort of way. I mean, it doesn't just shove the whole thing in its tiny mouth. It bites off the thumb, chews on it, swallows it, bites off another piece, and so on. The other people mostly stayed where they were, shocked and unable to understand what was happening. Maybe one person went forward and pulled on the person being eaten a few moments after the angel bit the thumb. A couple of people probably vomited. When the angel got the whole hand off, two or three people probably brought the injured person to a hospital, or maybe they just dragged the person back to the group and someone called for an ambulance on a cell phone. At least a few of the people are still watching the angel, maybe unsure if they should just leave or if they need to report this to someone, when it's finished with the hand. There's a lot of blood on it's mouth and hands and down it's dress. It leans forward and stretches out for the other people, but it's stuck to the base and can't move very well below the waist. It doesn't really have feet. It can move it's wings, too. And that was it. Probably because the horror type image that really scares me is inanimate objects coming to life.
I played Dead or Alive 4 on the Xbox 360 yesterday. I'm really out of practice. The slightly different controls also messed me up a little. I went through the moves in training mode and found that my timing is still good. It took me a while to get the complicated moves right on Dead or Alive on the Playstation. I should set up the Playstation in my room. I wonder if I can get my NES and Sega repaired.
