Candi turned and ran.Slame chased after her along with the man."Wait!''Slame yelled.How could he have found me?how could he have gotten here so fast?How did he know where I was?,she thought.She turned down one hallway then passed by a door.Then another,and another,and another.Finally she decided:I know! I'll lose him by a door! She ran into the nearest one and shut it tight.She turned the lock on it then turned to search for a window...Then stopped short.

"Like I said, SURPRISE!!"the man yelled.Candi closed her eyes thinking,hoping, it was all just a dream.She opened her eyes and-

"Alright the usual coming right up!"Bill called from the ice cream stand.Candi stood there in awe.She paid the bill, grabbed her change, and sat down on a nearby bench. Was it really all just a deam?No. It couldn't be! It all seemed too real...,she thought frantically.A voice sounded behind her:

"Are you ok?"Slame was bending over her with a worried look on his face."Wh-What happened?"Candi asked confused."Oh!You slipped on the wet floor while we were walking to go see my mom,"he told her. What? Thats impossible we already talked to her, we....This is so confusing! What's going on!?!,she asked herself.

"Thats a great question,"another voice that sounded familiar.She spun around only to see-

"M-Mom? B-but thats impossible! Your dead! How could..."her voice trailed off.

"I know what your thinking,"her mom said,"I think its about time I told you the story."
