It is a sad day today. We got a knock on the door and a woman who knows my family informed us that a large gray cat was laying dead down the street. I quickly got a towel and went to see the cat. Sadly, it was out ten year old gray tabby, Noah.
A cal to the vet discribing the simptoms he displayed only yeaster day sugested that his heart may have given out. He died very quickly, and how he was laying made it clear that it was indeed sudden.
The woman had called the city to report the dead cat and only a moment after I had arived a man from the city drove up. He kindly caried Noah to our front poarch for me. (Noah was a large cat). Not long after my grandma arived and we buried him in his favorite place in the back yard.
Only two days before I had played with him for nearly twenty minutes in the kitchen. He was happy and enjoied the moment.
I'm glad he did not suffer or linger the way cat in our past have. And it was good while it lasted.
Rest In Peace, Noah.
