Just one night just for you
It’s October 31, Halloween night in Konoha and it’s the night of the annual Konoha Halloween masquerade ball. Neka hanta is, even after two years, still hurt deeply from the day Sasuke left. Now her mother is trying to coax her into going……
“Mama I don’t wanna go!” 15 year old Neka said as she sat on her bed absentmindedly stroking her long black hair and staring out the window watching the sun set behind her magnolia tree. “It would be too painful.” Her mother Kurohyou sighed, “I know it’s been two years, but you have to get back in the game,” she said. “I really don’t want to go” Neka said “you never know Koneka, something might just happen, but you’ll never know until you take the first step. The dance is at 7 o’clock and I hope you go” Kurohyou said. She walked out of her daughter’s room, closing the door silently. Neka reached back to her pillows and picked up her favorite Sasuke plushie. She held it in her arms, running her thumb on the plushies mouth thinking of the last time the real Sasuke’s pale, pink lips had kissed hers. “Two long years ago he had kissed me,” Neka thought, “I don’t want to go to the masquerade, but it might help me get my mind off Sasuke, even if it is for a little while.” Neka muttered.

Neka stood in front of the full-length mirror on the back of her closet door staring at her reflection and her costume. Neka was going to the ball as a princess. Her dress was black and white and strapless (a/n pretty much the one from Cinderella, but that’s just in the puffiness) it had white lace at the top. The black part of the dress parted at the waist and it showed a white under skirt. On her neck, as always, Neka was wearing her Uchiha bell. On her head she wore a sliver tiara with black diamonds and she had thought about putting her hair in a different style, but in the end she decided to wear her hair down. She even let her mother spray her ankle-long, ebony hair with sliver glitter. Then after making sure she had put just the right amount of glitter in Neka's hair Kurohyou left the room and came back with a beautiful mask. “I wore this to my first masquerade ball. I hope it will bring you luck.” the thin mask was made of shiny, white fabric and it had seed pearls going around the border. The mask’s eye-holes where slits so her cat eyes wouldn’t give away her identity, and on the right corner there was a few little, black feathers on either side. There were black silk ribbons to tie the mask firmly in place. “Mama it’s…beautiful!” Neka breathed. Kurohyou smiled and put the mask on Neka's face, tying the ribbons under Neka's hair. Neka looked back at her reflection. She barely recognized herself. “I wonder if Sasuke would recognize me.” Neka thought as she applied blood red lipstick to her lips. As she put the lipstick back on her bureau, she walked past her nightstand besides having a lamp a book and her journal laying there Neka picked up the picture frame she looked at the picture she had her arms around Sasuke’s neck and giving him a kiss on the check. Sasuke was blushing and smirking his normal emotionless eyes where sparkling like bight stars on a cloudless night. “He probably wouldn’t,” she thought. She set the picture back on the table and left her room.

When Neka arrived, she was amazed at all the costumes and the decorations. “Wow! They really pulled out all the stops!” she thought. Neka walked around. People she barely recognized jumped in front of her. Some people where easy to figure out who or what they were, but the easiest was Naruto. The dobe was dressed as a bowl of ramen. Neka smirked at his ridiculous costume, but walked away. Neka had also run in to Yaruki who was dressed as Kakashi and Kakashi being Yaruki’s date was dressed as the scream. “Hey Yaruki,” Neka said. “Is that you Neka?” “No, it’s the freakin Kyuubi! Course its Neka!” Neka said. Yaruki laughed, “You look so pretty Neka. I wonder what Sasuke would think,” Kakashi gave her an elbow in the ribs. “Oopes, sorry Neka I forgot!” Yaruki said, sweat dropping. Neka smiled a little. “Its okay, have fun you two and try not to make out to much.” Neka said. “…hey” Yaruki pouted Neka smirked and walked away. soon she got her first dance request form her friend Cartmen, who just like the cartoon character he is nicknamed, was dressed as Eric Cartmen from south park at first Neka wanted to decline dancing with someone else would feel so strange, but seeing how cute Cartmen looked asking her she couldn’t say no so they danced and Neka enjoyed it but it wasn’t the same but all in all he was a good dancer. The song ended and before Neka even left the dance floor she was approached by man dressed in a half black half white costume one sleeve was white the other was black as was his mask. “It’s your destiny to dance with me.” He said. “And what are you supposed to be?” Neka said. “I'm the yin yang from the tetra-gram.” he replied “it’s definitely you Neji.” Neka said. “It was your fate to know it was me.” Neji replied. Neka scowled, “keep talking about fate and I won’t dance with you.” “Okay I'm shutting up…still want to dance?”Neji asked. “I guess.” Neka said she gave her hand to Neji and he led her back to the dance floor. They danced a couple dances but mostly Neji talked about fate. Finally Neka had enough of fate this fate that, she told Neji she needed to take a break. Neji seemed to be glad about this he had seen Tenten and wanted to go be with her. Neka smiled sadly as she watched Neji and Tenten embrace and walk off talking and laughing. Neka sighed seeing all these couples made her Miss Sasuke even more. She walked around and found a seat close to the dance floor but away from the big crowds. she looked around trying to guess who was who .she saw Hinata dressed as the sun goddess, Gaara was a panda he really looked like he wanted to kill the next person who looked at him wrong, Neka was shocked to see Avien dressed as Deidara well her being dressed as Deidara wasn’t that surprising it was seeing her at the dance that really shocked her. Also she was pretty sure she had seen Orochimaru dressed as the wicked witch of the west because she saw a flying monkey with silver hair and glasses following the witch around. “I hope the Anbu figure out he’s here” Neka thought she kept on looking for people she recognized. Then she heard a deep smooth voice beside her, “hello you look to beautiful to be by yourself.” Neka turned and saw a black haired man his costume was like the one the prince wore in the Disney Cinderella movie Neka had watched when she was younger, but the suit wasn’t white but black instead and with decorative gold ropes on his chest, his mask was much like Neka's but no pearls and no feathers and it was also black and his ebony hair was gelled down and a gold crown rested in the center of his head. Neka couldn’t help but stare that this mysterious man, there was something about him that made her feel warm but she had never seen him before. “I don’t suppose you want to dance” he asked with a little half smirk. Neka smiled “he smirks just like him.” she thought .She slowly rose from her seat. The man took Neka's hand and kissed it, “princess may I have this dance?” he said bowing. Neka smiled “yes I would be honored” she replied. The man led her to the dance floor and swept her into his arms. Neka felt her face grow warm as the man wrapped his arms around her waist and held her close. Neka slowly rested her head on his shoulder letting him dance her around. Neka was shocked that she hasn’t tried to pull away when he had put his arms around her waist. Her body let him hold her in his strong arms. Neka felt so safe and warm, “why….he’s so much like him. Why couldn’t Sasuke have come even if it was for just one night? I would have been glad to see him just once. To see him smile and call me kitty, just one time.” Neka thought she bit her lip to stop it from trembling. “Princess…is there something wrong?” the man asked looking at her. From the little bit of eyes that Neka could see he was concerned. “I'm fine…” Neka mumbled. Then the giant bell rung midnight and Tsunades voice rang through the hall, “its midnight you may remove your masks.” Neka sighed and began to untie her mask. Slowly the mask came off and she looked at her dance partner. She smiled a little showing her feline teeth .the mystery man who still had his mask on smiled ,“I knew it was you Neka.” he said softly. He slowly began to untie his mask. When his mask was untied and it started to slip from his eyes, “I missed you…..” the mask fell “…kitty.” Sasuke said with a true smile. Neka's eyes grew wide, “s-Sasuke……” Neka gasped. Sasuke smiled again, “yeah it’s me.” he said Neka got tears in her eyes. “Sasuke…I missed you so much!” Neka sobbed she hugged Sasuke tightly and cried in his chest. She felt him stroke her hair like he used to do. “Sasuke are you……” Neka said looking up at him her eyes finishing the question, “….are you back for good?????” Sasuke shook his head, “I'm sorry kitten but ……” Neka knew what he meant it make her heart hurt. She buried her face in Sasuke’s chest again. Sasuke hugged her close stroking her hair. When Neka had calmed down Sasuke said, “I am going to have to go back but I came back just for one night….” He lifted Neka's chin when she looked at him her bight green cat eyes sparkled in the lights. “……..just for one night just for you...my princess.” Sasuke said and he placed his pale lips on Neka's giving her the kiss she had been missing for the last two years. As she felt Sasuke’s tongue slip into her mouth and caress her tongue and explore her mouth, she remembered what her mother had said earlier:
“You never know Koneka, something might just happen but you'll never know until you take the first step.”
“You were right mama, I took the first step and I was reunited with my prince…even if it is for just one night.” Neka thought as she felt Sasuke bring her closer to his warm body his tongue still exploring her mouth feeling every crevice, rolling over her feline teeth. Neka wished it would never end but she knew it would but she would enjoy it even if as Sasuke said:
“Just for one night just for you.”

Yeah bit of a crappy ending, but I think it was a sweet story ^^. Oh and if anyone is wondering where sakura is ……I ATE HER!!!!!!!! She tasted like wilted flowers icky. So I hope you guys enjoyed it leave a nice comment or just comment so you can get your damn gold Jk,Jk. I'm going through raging hormones so yeah that why I'm so snippy ……God I hate growing up .
