I felt like I was falling backwards, just very slowly. The light whisps of solidarity flowed around hands, slipping between my fingers. The bulk of it was at my back, keeping my feet angled downwwards. It felt an eternity passed before my feet lit against stone. Only then did I realize my flowing robe had been replaced with greek toga with a slit in the front showing off my shapely legs and a low V-neck that showed off a lot more than a little of my chest. I wrapped my arms around my self as I curled into myself. It was so hot but I couldn't help feel a fridgid breeze blowing through me. I glanced nervously around, trying to figure out where in the nine hells I was. The place seemed barely here. The walls seemed translucent and flowing, however they were solid, definate. The ceiling was adorned with stars, yet they were partially concelaed by shifting translucent masses of carvernous rocks. However after further scrutinty I discovered that there was actually a solid section. A soft, warm light flowed forth, spilling out into the ghostly cave. I slowly crept forth, stealing around the rocky bend. The light emanated from a small labratory. Viles hissed and beckers bubbled. I snuck forward, huggin the walls, my hands pressed against the rough, uneven surface. As I neared I noticed a person working in the lab. I squinted and moved closer, eyeing the lab coated back of the mysterious scientist. Suddenly they straitened and turned to me. The man appeared to be nearing his mid thiries at most! His face was barely mared, his eyes sharp, his toned body standing with proper form. However his silvery gray hair that aged him, even though it was twisted into tight silver clasps that hung over shoulders just as would expected of a man of his age. "Who are you?" He asked, appearing to be quite shocked by my appearence. "...I'm Rhyns..." I manage to say, clinging tightly to the rocky wall partially shielding me. Suddenly robes brush past me, sweeping in before me. The hodded figure bowed curtly and lowered their hood, revealing a shock of ebony hair. Anako turned to me and nodded, then turned his full attention back to the young scientist. "Pardon the intrusion Master Hyiru." Anako said solemnly and giving another stiff bow. "Oh! Anako!" The man said hurring out from behind the lab table. He quickly ran over and embraced Anako then held him out at arms length. "I had heard such aweful rumors!" He exclaimed, giving a faint smile, his eyes flickering to me. "And your... guest?" He asked, more interesting in know my ranking rather my name. "He won't be here long." Anako stated matter of factly. He leaned into the man, whispering something into the Hyiru's ear. The man jolted and looked to Anako with earnest fear and axiety. After a few intese seconds Anako finally spoke. "Come no, is that any way for our kind to act?" He chidded, flashing an arrogant smile at him. He laughed weakly, his eyes once again flashing over me. "It certainly isn't." He said at a lenght and warily swiveled around, feebily walking to the lab table. "Come, Rhyns, we must be swift." Anako whispered to me and hustled off. We flew down halls and up stairs, barely a soul in the place. We stole through the spiraling tower like two star crossed lovers running from their opressive parents. At every small creak we flattened against the wall, we peeked around each corner, passed swiftly by each open doorway and hall junction. We ran hand in hand, past the blurring walls of white mist and swirling corridor leading into forsaken hells and deserted plains. How listless and dreary this placed seemed. However Anako slowed to a brisk walk as he approached a set of double doors at the top of the winding staircase. The doors were massive slabs of the deepest oynx. Twisting and curving silver designs wound its way out from the hinges. The sterling silver handles were ornately carved with twisting flowers and mystic energy. Anako threw open the opac doors, revealing the most breath taken scenery ever. The deep clouds of blue twisted and puffed beside clouds and clusters of black and grey swirling cosmic dust. The stars glittered up in that pristen blanket. The glow of far off planets and the brillence of passing moons filled the sky with eerie shades od red and rose while the faint golds and whites of suns and stars filtered through. "It's.... beautiful..." I gasp, coming to the woven silver railing. "It's so...... Wonderful..." I murmured as he came up beside me. "I know." He whispered in my ear, leaning over me. His hair spilled over onto my shoulder, licking at my face and neck. I felt the twisting locks slither down my exposed chest and arms. I shivered and arched my back, feeling a surge of energy corse through me. I looked back at him, his profile accentuated by the shimmering cosmos. His sharp, thin features trimed in a glowing halo of silver and rose. His eyes glittered with speckles of colours and shined with a spirit that had never been nown to Earth. He was a creature of this plain, I know now. He is a god and this is his mount Olympus, his Heaven. "It is tme we return." He whispered huskily, his hands falling over my own. I spun in his arms to face him, my fingers tracing the folds of his robes. I felt the robes become thinner and thinner, vanishing into air. He slowly faded into the etheral background, blending into the starry sky. I reached up and took his hair, letting its length flow out from my hands. As I did I felt a weight come to my hand and the world shatter to pieces, leaving only the tumult of writhing clouds and eternal darkness around me. I opened my hand and the dazzeling light of a captured star shone out, bathing the area in a blessed glow. I banished the darkness and dispelled the confusion, watching as I found my exit now and raced for it. The light shown all the brighter, wiping from me, in the last seconds of transition, the spell that had been woven around me.
