I see you from afar
In the little distance
You seem to be surronded by everyone
You laugh and smile
Not having a care in the world
You turn and look at me
Smiling you say hey
I smile back, but your already gone
Will you ever truly see me?
Even from afar?

You were always there
Guiding me and never leaving me
I see you day and night
Wondering if I went back in time
Maybe we could still be togther
You begin to talk to me
Once more
Even though it's not much
I wish you could see my sadness
That I carry from all my wrongs
Could you ever see me?

I sit there
Crying a silent cry
Watching you through blurry eyes
As you leave my life
It begins to rain as I call for you
I try to go after you, but I fell down in the end
You leave me soaked in the rain
Still crying those silent tears

Sitting there dazed as you walked into my life
I see you, but do you see me?
When will you notice me?
I say hi and bye, but nothing more
I soon see you coming to me
And finally you answer back
