Once upon a time, There was a Goddess, her name was Shina. Shina loved the Earth you could always find her watching the people from afar. She was by far too different from the humans. They were afraid of her, of her beauty and grace. They thought of her as a demon, she shead tears for their mistake as they chased her away into a forest. There she sat crying wishing that they could understand, but they would not listen. She tried to change herself to look more human for them but alas this did not fool their eyes. A hunter that was making his way through the woods heard her cry and went to look curious as to why a woman would be in the forest so deep. When he saw her it was love at first sight, he ran up to her and asked why a maiden so fair would shed tears of sorrow. She had answered that the villagers did not accept her and had chased her there. He had smiled and took her to a hidden medow in the centre of the woods. She smiled almost instantly and they spent their days in this medow for the next few months. But one day he had asked her why she stayed in the forest and why she couldn't come home with him. She simply said that here was where she belonged and here she would stay till the end of time. He asked her curious what she had meant by that and she replied I first met you here and each day when you come in this forest, I 'll be able to find you and you me. When night came around he had returned home but paused when he remembered that he had forgot his coat. He turned around and went back into the meadow but paused when he heard a song so sweet he felt he would just die. Almost hypnatized he sought out the owner of that voice but only to find his Shina. Hiding in the bushes he watched her remove he human desguise and show her Goddess self. He gasped and she spun seeing him with an expression of sadness. She had tried to explain herself but he would not hear it he yelled at her that she had lied to him. And that he fell in love with the human Shina not the Goddess. So he spat a curse at her a curse so horrible that he knew it would confine her to the forest and then fled. She felt terrible and tried to apoligise but could not find her voice. His curse was nothing more then words but to her it was law. She did not return to heaven and she did not leave the forest. She vowed that she would remain until the end of time just to wait for his return. She was heartbroken. Even if he would not come back every minute every hour she would feel the sting of his words as though it had just happened. She waited in that meadow for years but he did not come back. Even now if you were to go to that forest and look she would still be there waiting for his return.
