My nose is running and I've got this tense sort of pain between my eyes--hey, could this be sickness? I don't know; it could just be chronic lack of sleep...

However, other than that my weekend has been awesome so far ('weekend' is understood to begin when the last class on Friday ends). I got Costello Music! I feel so bad for everyone who hasn't heard this CD. I should start some kind of support group for them or something. "People-who-haven't-heard-Costello-Music Anonymous". Also, I've basically finished writing my presentation for Wednesday, or at least it's about as good as it's ever going to be, and after reading it aloud half a dozen times I'm feeling (at least a little) less tempted to just skip class rather than read it aloud in front of all those people... I mean, you have to understand, this is Gateway. That's sort of a freshman orientation course; I'm only taking it because I was home schooled. The other people, well--ugh. It's like they haven't left high school. They don't seem to want to be here, and they're all cliquey and scary... *scared of people her own age* >_> But I'll survive... somehow... actually, maybe reading for people that I don't really like/care about might allow me to be 'more' ridiculous (if I don't get up there and just burst into tears xD).

AND! I got Halloween decorations! *ridiculously excited* I got the silliest thing--a little rubber ducky that's dressed up as a cat, for some unknown reason, and it has a little mouse and a trick-or-treat basket... It's way cuter than I can make it sound, I swear ^_^; I would post a picture, but my digital camera and I are having a difference of opinion at the moment... I got six black roses with purple glitter too, and a long black vase to put them in ^_^ Man, if I'm already giving into the temptation to buy decorations while it's still technically summer, my side of the room is going to look pretty incredible by Halloween... I want cobwebs next...
