THE PLEDGE DEBATE
OMG! Don't even come near me with that crap.
It's simple.
Just don't say Under God.
They're words people!
I say the pledge everyday not because I love God ((I'm not even religious. I think religions are interesting though and enjoy learning them)) but because I think of the pledge as a way of stating the fact that we won that war all that time ago that lets us apply the little rights we have today.
It's all how you look at things.
The pledge isn't there to shove religion down your throat.
Do I think they should make saying the pledge mandatory?
Hell no. I have my reasons for saying/not saying it ((as I've stated)) and you have your reasons for choosing to/not to. Most kids in high school don't say it anyway. I guess they just get tired of repeating the same s**t day in and day out not even knowing anything behind it. But really, what do high school students care about now a days?
"OMG! They're shoving religion down our childrens throats blahdyblahdybladyshriekscreampissmoanblah!!!!!"
No sweatdrop they're really not. They're not going to smack your kid if they don't say Under God. That would be against the law for one.......unless they're nuns >...> Hmm..can nuns still hit kids? Anyway..that would be kinda retarded sending your kid to a school with nuns if you didn't believe in God.... That would be your own dumbarse fault. The guy who wrote the pledge didn't put Under God in there to later piss off the future generations.

"I don't wanna say something that I don't believe in!"
Don't say it then you assbackwards retard! Unless you have a gun held against your head don't say it. Kapeesh?
"They can't make me say it so I won't"
Aww, you're a rebel arenchya? Of course they can't physically make you. That would be, again, against the law.
Please, please, share your thoughts with me. These are the things I feel. I would like to know thoughts and feelings from both sides of this argument. Please comment or PM me. If the points sent are good enough I might put them in here.
((Also, if you're going to complain about spelling errors...um..the hell? I read this over a ton so..did my best to spot the errors.))
