Oh crap, I’ve completely forgotten to introduce the characters. Well then, let’s do this quickly, during the scene transition…

Thad is the one wielding the metal fan. He is Skai’s younger brother, and is only 16 years old. His weapon was originally blue, but it turned almost completely black the first time he shifted dimensions. With a bit of effort, he can manipulate wind generated by his fan. He wears an extravagant green and white as a result of his recent heroics on planet Tertiya. He also has short-ish black hair.

Kaze is a wind elemental. He was once sealed in Thad’s fan, but after a strange turn of events, he was granted his own body. Naturally, he can manipulate the wind easily. When the wind doesn’t work, he always has his odd-looking sword. In addition to wearing a dark blue robe similar to Thad’s, Kaze also sports two large, blue, feathered wings. His hair is also blue and rather long.

Skai, as I mentioned before, is Thad’s older brother. As fate would have it, he knows alchemy. “Alchemy?” you ask. Yes, alchemy. By now, everyone should be familiar with the concept of transmutation, popularized in this world by the Elric brothers and their heroic exploits. To make proper use of this skill in battle, Skai has a transmutation circle carved into his excessively large and otherwise normal broadsword, allowing him to change its form at any time. He also wears the same type of robe as Kaze and Thad (his is black and white), as they were all part of the same adventure. His hair is white and goes down to his shoulders. A red headband with a long tail keeps it out of his eyes, and makes him look way cooler.

Mizurai is a water elemental who was Kaze’s good friend until he got on the bad side of a hermit monk and was sealed in the fan (but that’s another story). She is skilled with a bow, but fights with dual katanas as well. As Kaze is to wind, Mizurai is to water. She has complete control over liquid water, and limited control over ice. Since just met Kaze and the others at the tournament mentioned in the prologue, she doesn’t wear the robes the three wear. Instead, she wears a simple blue dress, with flowing patterns all over it. Her hair is long, straight, and light blue.

Phew…Now that that’s out of the way, we can focus on the adventure. This is where things get interesting….
