Personal entry: Is the glass half empty or half full?
It used to be I'd automatically answer half full. Now I won't say that the glass is half empty, instead I ask a question: is it enough to quench my thirst?
The optimist in me has run away and is in hiding, while the pessimist fights for dominance. In the meantime this strange semi-realist is sitting at the reigns. *mouth twitchs* See this is why I don't write inbetween my highs and lows, people are gonna think I'm all emo or something.
Honestly, when I'm not busy trying to think up solutions, freaking out about one stress or another, or desperately trying to distract myself, I get all wierd and numb, according to Kain I get this dumb look on my face. "Lights are on, but nobody's home". To be clear, I'm there, just I'm hiding out in the back of the house waiting; waiting for a phone call, a knock at the door, or some other sign that its safe to come out. Not out of my mind, but out of hiding.
Okay enough of the pschyo-analytical nonsense, here's the real news:
So there's a very good chance my dad and I are gonna get this nice two bedroom one bath place semi-close to my school and my dad's work. Issues with it are the deposit is huge 'cause Dad and I both have less than ideal credit(a lot less). Also, I haven't even filled out the form yet, just Dad has, plus I won't say its ours till I have the keys in my hand. 3nodding
Based on my current horrible trend of attendance at work, I really doubt that Target is gonna keep me after my 90 days are up, but Kain says I have to have hope, do my best and act like I'll get the job if I do my best from now on. What in the world happend to me that Kain is the more hopeful one than me? But maybe they will keep me permanently, maybe they'll be understanding since it's no secret my life outside of work is difficult right now. And there is the possibility I might get another job actually doing graphic design for a local theater company in my county. I know I could make some really nice brochures for plays if I tried. ninja
Okay so maybe I do have some hope, I just prefer to keep it quiet and to myself incase I'll jinx it or something. Silly huh?
