My Broken Heart...

My life was dark and gloomy
until the day i saw you
standing there all alone
you were my sunshine in the rain
you were my warmth in the cold
but all that changed
the day i saw you with him
you broke my heart
then stomped it to pieces
making sure i would never feel love again
then as if that wasn't enough
you took the pieces leaving me there alone
with no sunshine and very cold
but in the darkness
i found a very small piece of my heart
that you had forgotten there on floor
and with that little piece
i was brought back into the sun
and i was warm again and also
with that little piece
i don't know why but i loved you again
after all you did to me
i still loved you
and now i know nothing is going to change that
no matter what you do
my broken heart will always belong to you.
