Samantha woke up early to the sound of her cell phone ringing. She moaned before rolling up to pick it up. 'Sammy!!! Wake your lazy butt up!!' It was her best friend Jade who ,for some reason, thinks it's her job to wake Sam up. 'I'm up I'm up' Sam moaned pulling the blankets from over her head. 'Good!' Jade yelled 'Now get dressed 'cause we are going to the mall See ya in 15 minutes' with that Jade hung up & Sam jumped & hoped in the shower. When she got out the shower, in a towel, She passed her mirror & saw the bruise on her cheek. 'Damn I didn't think he left a mark' She tried to put on make-up & cover it up but it still showed 'I guess there is no hiding this one'. Putting on some blue jeans, with a blue tube top & white sandals, she ran downs stairs to hear her stepfather & mom fighting again.
