*sighs* Well, here it is. The supposedly wonderful first post...and there's absolutely nothing I can think of to write. Okay...maybe a few things. I am Naanaami, obviously, and I am from Texas (which is a cool state, by the way). I am a freshman in high school, and have been on Gaia since February of last year. I have a twin sister - Odori on Gaia...and three dogs, Taffy, Toby, and Ginger. They're all cocker spaniels.
Today is the last friday of my freshman year, and I have nothing but dread for exams. Okay, not really - In Geometry, I automatically get a 100 on the exam for passing standardized testing (and that was SO hard rolleyes ), and in Biology, I get an extra credit 20 points for turning in the review. Global bothers me, though.
Global, btw, is an uber-advanced combo of Geography and English I. It's considered an AP class (as it should be)...and it's driving me insane! The teachers find it necessary to throw 5 assignments on us the last week of school, all of them projects or quiz grades! I've had to dress up as the Pope(UN Day, as they call it), and Capulet's Wife (Romeo and Juliet), and had to turn in a total of 70 review questions this week (40 last week), not to mention a political cartoon due today. I'm also doing extra credit...*sighs* I'm doomed. Especially since I'm a perfectionist. I need my all A's...and Global's screwing it up! I barely squeaked by in Geometry...but I squeaked, and I'm good to go for the year for that class.
Japanese is my saving grace. Sensei is allowing us to have a neato little party with DDR and video games and pizza and such...not that I'm good at DDR or many video games, but it's fun to watch. sweatdrop The exam I'll have to study for, but I'm not too worried.
I just can't wait for summer to truly come...I need my free time! *sobs*
