I looked down at the fallen vampire. The stake which the vampire slayer used was hammered in right at the heart. Looking at the vampire slayer, I took a step back, scared if he was going to do anything to me or Blade. Blade, who kept his eyes on the vampire slayer, asked, "Who are you?" It was too late, though, as the vampire slayer jumped up and began leaping from building to building, despite the wound from the vampire.
"Adam, is everything okay?" Blade looked at me as I looked at the direction the vampire slayer left.
"It's amazing, how he was able to be playing the weak victim, but then killing the vampire at the end."
"Yeah, it was."
"Do you want to know something, Blade?" I asked as i turn around to face him.
"What? what do you want me to know?"
"When I graduate from the school of elementals, I am going to hunt vampires to my death."
"Don't you think you're overdoing it?"
"No, i'm not. This is for real. I want to be a vampire slayer."
"Good luck with that."
Blade484 and I turned our backs on the vampire, unaware of what was about to happen. The vampire on the ground was not dead yet, but it needed energy from biting one person on the neck. One thing I didn't know was this: it was going to jump for me.
The sky was turning darker, signaling the coming of night. We began to walk away, when all of a sudden, a dark power came over me. My feet were unable to move, my breaths were growing smaller, and my heart pulse was rising. Blade, not noticing that I stopped, turned around to see that i was stunned by the vampire. All of a sudden, the vampire used his evil magic to turn me around and begin walking to him.
The vampire stood up and began limping to me, thinking of how his next "meal" was going to benefit him. he grabbed for the stake, grasped it, and pulled it out with most of his remaining strength. It began to heal itself slowly. The hole in his chest was beginning to close up. I was only a yard away from the vampire.
"Adam! What are you doing? Quikcly, get back to your senses and run away!" Blade was trying to say to me. I couldn't free myself of the spell, no matter how hard i tried. The vampire, looking at me with his bloody red eyes, jumped at me and bit me in the neck.
it felt as if the world was changing, all happy thoughts were disappearing, and all thoughts were evil. Blade looked at me, horrified to see what was happening to me. When it let go of me, I fell down to my knees, nowhere to go, nowhere to hide. I was officially a vampire. I began to close my eyes when Blade used a spell.
"Exilia Mortis!" A great flame jumped at the vampire and devoured it, leaving no remains but ashes. Blade quickly ran up to me and picked me up. When he came up to me, I was unconscious, and saw no more.
