Maritime Adventures!
The reason you haven't heard about my big trip to Alaska yet is because it ain't over! But one of the sub-adventures is.
I took a tour around a place near a place named Seward; somewhat near Anchorage Alaska where I've been staying for a while. Anyways the boat was big, but not like cruising boat big. Just like a bit room or something, then with another room on top of it. It was like a double decker boat. It wasn't really nice, but it had the feeling of general hardcore-ness.
Now I fancy myself lucky. So in advance I imagine this whole trip to be strangely good. Well, it was. We went like two feet and we saw a bald eagle sitting on a post on the dock we were leaving from. That's not too common really. Especially that close to people. Then we kept going in our silly boat, and the very next thing was pretty cool. We had a whale sighting; I think they were humpback whales, which are pretty big I think. So those happened and everybody on the boat got quiet. We viewed it and I pretended it was like the Loch Ness Monster or something.
Then the next good thing was this huge glacier. It was just this huge towering wall probably more than 100 feet high; of ice, snow, and blue ice; which exists. That thing was probably my favorite just because of it's hugeness, and it's blue ice chunks. I could tell you all about how blue ice works but I'm not sure I should do that. I guess I'll put it in at the bottom so you can read it if you want. Chunks did fall from it, but no actual huge plate of it fell off like in videos you see. Still, you could hear it move really suddenly; I think that's how they move. They either don't move at all, or they go so fast they make sounds like a rifle being shot. They're under so much pressure that once they melt enough for something to happen, or a chunk moves, they go crazy for a brief second. I thought that was the coolest.
Next thing was that we saw orca whales. Which are also dolphins and not actually whales. Anyways, what they did was just rise up and go down; and during that time blowing out of their blow hole. I mean, that's just what whales do apparently. I guess they really do do that. They were further away than the humpback, but there were like 7 of them, so it was cool to see them all rise up at different times.
Sometime, I'm not even sure when, but we saw Sea lions. They're just these big fuzzy brown animamals that you should probably have a picture of in your head. Some I noticed were black with no fur I think.
Then there were the birds, which were probably only cool because there were so many of them, and they were all on this huge rocky cliff which was extreme because you could look up at like an 80 degree angle and still see mountain. And there were mountain goats at I believe that time.
Really I think that was pretty much all that happened. The whole time it was just like a contest to see who could get a good spot in the boat. It wasn't that hard, but sometimes you'd be compromised. It was also hardcore when we were in the ocean and the big old ocean swells started to come in. Not like huge ones but still not waves; they were big enough to actually effect the boat quite a bit. They weren't like mountains or anything. They were just big waves. What mattered was what angle they were coming from. If they were coming from behind it wasn't so bad, but if they were coming from the side, it was crazy. The boat would just rock side to side so extremely; that was probably one of the most fun things. It was really really random when I took a little nap and then I woke up and had to go like 3 feet over to this trash can. The boat was going crazy and since I just woke up I was really crappy, so I stumbled like a silly sir. I just started laughing because I was thinking how silly it was to just wake up and start stumbling around. I actually did fall over once. However no big injuries were sustained.
So basically it was pretty sweet and we saw some stuff that even the big captain guy said he never done seen before, and also it was lucky to actually have the two different whale sightings. So my luck worked again and I had a pretty good time on that boat.

If anything interesting happens in my life, then I should put it in here. Also, I wouldn't put it in here if I didn't think anybody would enjoy reading it; so therefore, it must be worth reading.
