Mystery Dungeon: Darkness/Time
Once again you awaken as a specific Pokémon based on your responses to various personality questions, but this time you find yourself on a beach. Players create an exploration team with a new objective - finding valuable treasure. Based on the game you buy, you'll either be part of the Exploratory Party of Darkness or the Exploratory Party of Time. You'll explore various topographies, from caves, to mountains, forests, etc. The dungeon battle system remains the same, enemies only move or attack if you move. The Japanese pre-order bonus (which begins July 14, 2007) for these games is a strategy guide. Both games are only for Nintendo DS. No US release date has been revealed yet. JP Events
A major Japanese Pokémon event will occur on Sunday July 15th. Special battle zones and safari attractions will be available as well. Other events will be held on July 16th, 28th, 29th, and August 3rd, 5th, 10-12th, 17-19th, and August 31 to September 2nd. The events occur between 9 and 17:00. For further details, if you plan to visit Japan anytime soon and can speak the language, call 0120-005-035. A special Mew, Lucario, and Manaphy will be available to trade onto Diamond and Pearl on the DS via WiFi from these events.
Special DS Lite
On June 29th, 2007, in commemoration of the official Pokémon fan club, a special DS lite was released. No idea yet if or when it'll be available in the US. Click here for a picture of it.
