Throughout history, heroes have come and gone. The technology of modern times makes most believe in their superiority in time, and will be invincible in the not to distant future. The past stories of heroes saving the world with spirits of the most powerful creature alive are believed to be nothing but fantasy. An ability to merge with the spirit of a dragon is said to be nothing more than a fairy tale. No one ever gave the possibility of humans and dragons as one a second thought. What is unknown is the truth of the story. Dragons did exist at one time, but a change in the world and living was too great for the dragons to adopt, causing many of them to die out. In time, only two of each variety of dragons was left. Knowing that their bodies could not last forever, the dragons made a desperate ploy. In the hopes of living forever, the last remaining dragons locked their very spirits into a single orb with the hopes of it lasting until the planet reverted to the time when they ruled supreme. However, it was not to be. Time went by and the planet only continued to change farther and farther from what it once was. Dragons in time seemed to be only a creature that none would know of. Winglies became the new dominant species and ruled over all. Their rule had humans as slaves with the humans having nothing to fight back with. The humans wished and prayed for a way to be free. THE DRAGONS SHALL SOON BE NEEDED IN THE WORLD AGAIN. Soon, the cries and pleas of the humans broke the orb, giving the spirits of the dragons gained freedom. Knowing that the Winglies had gained immense strength, the spirits sought out the humans with the strongest will and gave them their strength to fight. With the aid of the dragons now merged with humans, a war broke out which in the end became a victory for the human race. However, with all of their energy expelled, the spirits left the physical plane and formed another orb in front of the humans which they had helped. Now, within that orb, the spirits lay dormant, waiting until they shall be needed again.
