The night carried on as Jack slept curled up into a ball, around him his friends began to stirr, however only one woke and rose from her spot. Turning his body around Yusuke's eyes opened slowly as he saw Sally brush off grass from her dress of patches. "Huh..whatyadoin?" The young spirit detective muttered still half asleep, his eyelids already drooping.
"Shhh..go back to sleep. I'm just cold." She said in a faint whisper. Turning back around, Yusuke yawned and waved her off as he drifted back to sleep.

With that, Sally crept over silently towards Jack and sat beside him, pulling the young skeleton's pale skull head onto her lap as she wiped away the blood spattered tears from his cheek bones. " Sleep tight Jack. " She spoke softly, her eyes closing as she smiled sweetly. " I hope you have nice dreams, my dear Pumpkin king. "

Not too far away a young man peered over the ledge he was sitting on, and watched the couple from up high.

A long while ago, he remembered lying on the ground for what seemed like a life time, and with curious eyes he watched others walk past him, looking at him for only moment and then turning their gaze away to something else. It took until late in the night where the young man finally decided to get up and stretch his legs.
" Hm? Well, would you look at that.." He had said while gazing up at the night sky. For among the nest of stars, right over where he once lied, high up in the sky rested a cloud shaped like a ghost. " ....Interesting." He spoke silently while touching his monocle lightly. "Hey.." He said suddenly, an odd feeling crawled inside him. " ..who am I? And where the heck am I anyways?"

As he watched the couple the young man recalled that first night in this strange world, where he felt confused and unsure. Over time he had begun to remember some key things, and he pieced them together trying to remember what and who he was. Now he knew that he wasn't human, but he didn't know what he was in place of that. He knew that he was doing something important a long time ago in another world beyond this one..he just couldn't remember what it was, nor could he recall the names of those fuzzy faces lost in memory, or what they meant to him.

"I remember...I once was with someone like that too..she was warm." He whispered to no one but himself. Glancing down at his hands, he moved them up towards his eyes and looked at them as if hoping they could reveal to him the answers he sought. However, they merely faced his eyes in silence and held no answers for him, only more questions.
