Shadow woke up that saturday morning then looked around at everyone else who was sleep."Late night."Shadow thought. Shadow looked at the time. 6:50. Shadow blinked a few times. Then said yelling."Crap! We are going to be late for school!"Shadow ran to everyone then shook them. Then they slowly woke up."Wake up, or esle we will be late."Everyone's eyes got big then everyone ran in different directions. The boys went into one room to change and the girls went into another. They quickly changed then went out. They ran out door then waited for shadow to lock it."Come on Shadow,hurry up!" Max yelled. Shadow finally locked it then they all ran down stairs. They ran across the street dodging cars left to right. Almost getting hit every time."7:58. We can make it."Shadow said happily. They ran into the school then split up to go to there home rooms. Max, Shadow and Yuna went to theirs. Kevin went to his alone and Musi, megami and sakura went to theirs. The bell rung once they got in then they all sat down in their seats. Ms. Kiume walks in then bows. “Good morning class." Kiume starts writing on the board."Today we have three other stundents move to our class. Here they-"Gigan and his brothers walk in."We can say our own names. I am Gigan."Kigan bows."I am Kigan."Ligan ignores them then gets nudged by gigan."Oh and I am Kigan."Ms. Kiume sighs and holds her anger. Kiume then says."Alright please take your seats then."The brothers nod then seat a few feet away from Shadow and his group. Shadow doesn't look at them just looks forward. Max leans back toward Shadow then says."Hey, aren't those the people who we fought yesterday?" Shadow nodded then replied."Yeah, don't look at them, we might start something." Yuna leaned over."Shhh we might get in trou-" "YUNA, MAX, AND SHADOW! NO TALKING!!"Shadow, Max and Yuna nod then shut up. Kiume writes a note then sends it away. Class ended then Max and Shadow went to P.E.. Mean while Sakura,Musi,Megami and Yuna sit down in the grass and listens to there teacher. Musi trys to listen but slowly starts nodding off to sleep. Sakura catches her then wakes her up."Hey don't fall asleep or else we get in trouble."Sakura said quietly. Musi nodded slighly then soon fell asleep again. Megami hit her head then musi quickly wakes up."HEY! What was that for?"Musi Yells. Ms. Suna turns to sakura,megami and musi."NO talking."Suna writes a note then sends it away. The group sighs as they know they got in trouble. That period ended and the lunch bell rung. Shadow and the group met under a tree."Man Max, Yuna and I got introuble in homeroom. I know we are in for it." Shadow said. Sakura,megami and musi sighs."Yeah we did too. Our club might be in trouble." The group sighs then starts eating. Kevin walks over then sits by them."Hey why the sad face?" They sigh again."We got introuble and I know we are in for it."Shadow said sadly. Time passed adn teh lunch period ended. Shadow and the group got up and went to their clubs room. It was a sun set when they finished cleaning. After that they sat all sat down on the ground in a circle. The principal comes in then slams her fist onto a desk,breaking it."Hello kids. I have bad news and good news. I saw your little fight last night and it was pretty good. On the other hand, you wrecked half the lot, got in trouble this morning and got here late. So as your punishment you have to go to a village and do what they say. So far all we know is that they are losing people and animals. You will go now and be out for the week. You are excused from school for that time being. Now,good day everyone." The principal leaves out the room. Everyone stays quite for a while then shadow blurts out."Wow more dangerous things. Alright team lets move out! We can talk about our plans once we start walking."Everyone nods then heads out. After a while they get on a train an waited. Shadow put out a map then pointed."Ok this is the plan. We are going to have to split up once there. There are seven spots we need to head to, so after we stop lets move out."Everyone gives each other their cell numbers then waits.
First to get off was Kevin, who started on his way to the village center as soon as everyone else had left the train. This is gonna be easy. Just gotta find out where those cows got to and chill with the nice people at the villa- His train of thought fell into a painful abyss as Jonathan Kenfer, the man who owned the local cinema down the street from their school, smacked him upside the head.
“Hey what the hell man?” Kevin yelled, taken aback by the sudden pain
“Get out of here you damn alien.” The old man, who was only an inch taller then Kevin, was wearing a tux, regardless of his nasty behavior.
“Okay then!” Kevin smiled as he stepped to the side of the short manager and sprinted past him. What the hell was that abo- Unfortunately, Kevin was running too fast for the automatic doors, which were sliding apart as he slammed into them. Yuna walked out the door as he pushed off of it.
“Why, thank you so much Kevin! I guess chivalry isn’t dead!” she yelled back to him.
“Wha…No, I wasn’t opening the door for-“ He smiled, “I mean, sure! Anything for you beautiful.” He yelled to her
Yuna couldn’t hear him through the walls of Zander’s Lively Bites
. “Hey Uncle Sid!” She said as she tilted over the glass counter. “I’ll have a vanilla ice cream.”
A bald man was standing behind the counter, a large toothpick between his lips. He was wearing a short-sleeve orange T-Shirt which was stained with chocolate. “Sure thing Miss.” He smiled as he took a cone, piled two scoops of vanilla ice cream on top of it, and handed it to her.
“Mmm! I could stay here forever!” She exclaimed after she violently licked the ice cream.
“Do it then.” Sid said sarcastically.
“Okay then.” Yuna sat down on the floor, pouting. “More please.”
Sid laughed, “What am I going to-“

-Do with you, Max. It’s been 15 minutes and you haven’t moved. Max thought, standing next to where the train was before it sped off. He hadn’t moved since everybody else split up. “My options…#1….I ditch my duties and have fun…#2…Something else.” Max smiled slyly. #3.

Shadow rapped at the wooden door. “Excuse me, house-owner. May I have a few minutes of your time?” He yelled at the door. A blonde girl, about the age of Shade, opened the door. “Hi there Miss, can I speak to your parents?”

She frowned.

“Are they home?”

She shook her head.

Shadow frowned. “Is something wrong?”

She nodded.

“What ha-“ shadow came to an abrupt stop as he heard a lady scream. “What the hell…” He whispered, walking past the girl, who twirled around and grabbed his shirt.

“Let go, I need to find out what’s wrong.”

“They won’t like that…”

“Who is ‘they’?” Shadow said, turning to face her.

”The pe-“ She screamed sharply. “He didn’t listen to me! I warned him I swear!” She yelled, stepping away from Shadow and covering her eyes.

“Huh?” Shadow turned around, only to be greeted by what looked like a human bear. With claws. “Whoa…”


Kevin loved food. All kinds of food. He liked the taste of tables. Once, he licked the leg of his mom’s brand new velvet chair. At the store. But I assure you. Never again will I taste sidewalk. It’s too gravely- They picked him up again, this time two of the boys grabbed his shoulders, as the other threw punches at his abdomen. Kevin inhaled after he stopped. But I sure as hell don’t like the taste of side walk. “I wasn’t aware of that.” He said and lollopped Kevin up his chin.

Kevin laughed. “Aw man, I hope she doesn’t hurt you too bad.” He said in a raspy voice as Megami moved away from a small hut and bit the primary attacker's ear. The men holding poor Kevin let go of him to draw their weapons. Poor them. Kevin seized an arm and twisted it back behind the targeted chap. Kevin smacked the back of his head, rendering said buck unconscious, then sent him nose-diving at the other boy, who was unusually skinny, so thrusting off his heavy chum was a no go.

“Ouch, my ear!” the kid who was belting Kevin turned to face Megami. She immediately grasped his shoulders, smiling sweetly. “Umm.”

“Relax…” she said leaning in. She was only a centimeter away when she twisted her hands back, dislocating his shoulders. Before the kid could scream and throw a sexist tantrum, Max, who had slipped into the battle inconspicuously, covered his mouth.

Kevin smiled, as did Megami, who were now standing a few good feet from Max.

”Apologize to the lady, mate!” Max said in a new, somewhat alcoholic tone. Kevin almost imploded with laughter, but megami shook him violently and eased him to a stop.

“It’s his new thing.” She whispered just before Max turned to them.

“Are the two of you enjoying a- Ow, my looting hand!” Max yelled in pain as the cruel adolescent escaped his grip and walked backwards, watching them. Kevin was cracking up, and Magami was desperately trying not to, so there was no one to stop him from escaping. He decided to gloat.

“Haha! I’ll be back for you Ke-“The boy walked into a pole and fell forward, unconscious. Megami exhaled and started to clap. Max grinned, “Eh lass, do you think that if I crashed into things as does this chum, I’d receive a standing ovation as well?”

“Yeah Max. Crashing into tables and chairs is quite the rage.” Megami said smiling. She picked up Kevin, but he fell back down, crying tears of joy.

“Wow! I’ve got to tell Valor about that!” He noted, and then glanced at Kevin. “What’s got you all hot and bothered?”

“Pirates.” Kevin replied.

“That’s nothing to laugh about. They’re serious business” Max said, pushing out his chest and looking into the sky. Following his notion, Megami burst into laughter and Kevin, exhausted, shook his head.

“Hoooooooo….” Megami finished laughing. “I had a dream like this once.”

“Really?” Kevin inquired, yawning.

“Yeah. Expect I was Kevin. And the men and I weren’t exactly fighting…”
