I'm sorry if I ever hurt. It wasn't me. I have to. My kittens are everything. I am so proud of them. Trying to be best. This is what happened once. A day I hate....
It was a normal day in Africa. I was watching Mino and Arue play in the plain as I was in the shades of the shadowy trees. I was far away from my pack. They wouldn't let Mino and Arue be so far away. I don't ever understand why. Nothing would make them attack each other. They're brothers. I have been tired for some time. I'll just close my eyes. Like I said....they're brothers.....
I feel something biting me. I'm alert. It's Mino and Arue. I was going to growl and be vicious until I recognised what they were worried about.
A car. Two men. Two rifles. One survives.
It was simple. I pushed Arue and Mino to tree bark behind me. I growl. I'm not a wolf, but it's the practise that counts. They laugh. They can see how afraid I am. They start mucking about. Like they were Kings. They let a mother of two mercy them. Not this time. Never. This won't happen. Sometimes I'd let this slip. But. I leap. I can hear pain as I rip a hand off. I hear two rifle shots. I closed my eyes. Ready to collapse. They went in that time. I opened. I wasn't hurt. I turned. It wasn't me they wanted. The two most important things to me. Laying on the tree I swore to them I'd protect them by. My selfishness stole and took over me. I lost it, because I lost it.
