• Once, there was a girl named Lihanna and she had a horrible secret. she was in love with Jackson, her best friends boyfriend. Lihanna didn't tell anybody her secret because she knew that nobody would understand. She spent years and years trying to enjoy herself but her mind was always on Jackson. In the day she would smile and laugh and act like she was the happiest person in the world, but at night she cried herself to sleep. Lihanna hoped with all her heart that her feeling for Jackson would just go away,she prayed for her love for him would cease.
    But as she watched him, she loved him even more so she decided to go away. She didn'tcare where she went, just as long as it was far, far away from Jackson.
    So she went to her grandmother's house, Lihanna thought that there was the best. She knocked on the door and her grandma opened it and, looking surprised, let Lihanna into the house. Lihanna was there for an hour at least until she finally asked her grandmother for advice.
    "Grandma?" Lihanna said.
    "Hm?" answered her grandma
    "Is it okay to love somebody that isn't yours?"
    Then, without warning, Lihanna's grandmother slapped her across the face.
    "If i have learned one thing from living in this sorry world, it's 'don't waste your life'! Don't throw your life away because of something so trivial, Lihanna!" Lihanna's grandmother shouted.
    Lihanna was absolutely shocked, her grandmother never shouts at all, and then Lihanna got mad.
    "Love isn't trivial!" Lihanna shouted back.
    "how dare you even use the word 'love'! you haven't earned the privilege to use that word!" yelled her grandmother, "how can you use the word so loosely and not be disgusted with yourself!? don't worry about love it's much too foolish and stupid to be messing around with that, and besides, wouldn't life be easier if you just let it go!?!?"
    Lihanna stared at her grandma.
    "Life would be easier?" She said quietly,
    and she thought about all the relationships she has seen and watched. She remembers watching them rocket upwards, the couples seemed perfect for each other, and then eventually crumble apart. she remembers the names: Jake and Katie, Ryan and Jasmine, Mike and Danielle, Fred and Penelope, all of which said "I love you". and now don't say anything to each other if they can help it. "Throwing my life away." Lihanna said, and looks at her own past,at all the times she could have had fun with her friends but was distracted because of Jackson.
    Tears started rolling down Lihanna's face as she realized how stupid she was.
