im gana be submitting some poems....its my filter.....it seems i need to turn to something ive never doen befor to filter my feelings...cuz im running low on friends...
"I wish it was a poem, but i suck at poetry, so its not a poem" poem.
i know...its long....but i wanted it to be out there....and heard....
1st. poem (i have three)
~let me~
why do you lie
you dont know that you are.
you lie everyday.
you lie to your friends,
you lie to your family,
you lie to yourself.
let me see the truth.
you live behind a mask,
a mask made of glass.
you think you are special
you think you are perfect
but your mask is tinted,
and I can’t see in
let me see the real you
I used to trust you,
but now I don’t.
I payed enough attention.
and I saw right through your mask.
I saw to the truth
let me show you who you are.
When we are fighting,
your mask gets cracked,
and “you” come out
“you” are scary
“you” are intimidating
you scare me away...
let me come closer
you say “you don’t know me”
“my new friends know me more”
I know you the most, yet i’m being pushed away
let me back in.
I really want to help you
but you can get so stubborn,
you can get so mean,
please let me in
i’m begging you please.
