Even in my weak slumber, my senses still focused in and out. I could catch the soothing scent of herbs and water. Feel the continous towel of this soothing liquid on my brow as though I was freezing. I felt like I was sweating but I wasn't... yet how was such thing possible, I couldn't figure out. Sometimes I could open my eyes and I'd see Black or Abraham...a few times I wouild see Alestar sitting at my side or his falcon on the crate watching me. I now seem to imagine them as fathers to me... I was so different compared to them...yet I was cared for so gingerly it seemed unreal, like it was dream and I'd wake up in the Eastern Forest once more...the rain still pouring over my face and the sorrow still lingering, but those feelings soon felt like they were turning into whisp-like glimpses of the past. After a while I could open my eyes more and speak more clearer and more often. I was able to move my hands and pet Alestar's falcon who had a mollifying feel with his feathers against the flesh of my hand. Abraham and his friend who I had found was named Ben...or Benjamin... was the one who knew all of herbs, he seemed tired and restless when I first caught sight of him. Abraham told me he had been traveling to countries and cities alike for a cure for this but found that my 'disease' didn't even exist or had not been known to the public. But he told me he was close...I trusted Ben even though I knew least about him. Still every night the same hot towel was placed on my forehead and the same oil lantern stood burning soothingly to warm me. I heard Black talking about me while he thought I was asleep. His one phrase, "Perhaps she will feel at home...because this is now her home as much as it is ours..." That seemed like a Cure no herb could heal any better.
