Puddle Travelers (Masters & Maidens): There is an excess of information on these curious, fun-loving creatures. Puddle Travelers have an uncanny thirst for knowledge and companionship. They are an easy-going, laid-back group of creatures, but don’t let this fact deceive you: they learn quickly, and are skilled in the ways of war. They know almost every known fighting strategy (and always have a few tricks up their sleeves). Training is started when they are forty-two years of age, about the equivalence of a highly advanced human prodigy of three. After centuries spent living underwater, most young Travelers grow restless, and seek their own adventures on land, though they always make sure to return to the easy lifestyle amongst their own kind. Origins: Most Puddle Travelers can trace their bloodlines back to the Sirens, Nereids, and/or Naiads of ancient times, though the race is a bit of a melting pot of all beings. Because of their charismatic personality, fun-loving spirit, and nearly-unmatched beauty, Puddle Travelers easily attract creatures of other races as mates. One of the oldest bloodlines (Clan of Dalit, currently led by Aquarius and Cascada of Winchell) can be traced back to Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea, and contains traces of dragon (see Volume 1, page 357), human, and even Dark Angel (see Volume 1, page 334), to name a few. ~Excerpt from Creatures of Palresena'Esum: An Encyclopedia of the Species of The Eighth Continent and Their Origins
