Four fights today, and many people expected lockdown part 2.
And from what I hear, yesterday's mess was caused by multiple gangs, not just two. The lockdown was on account of a rumor that several people had guns. So yes, there were three fights yesterday, one of which was gang related. I hear that my old English teacher charged into a fight to stop it.
My teacher says that October is one of the most dangerous months for a school since it is a long month and we don't have vacation days. Other notably dangerous months include June, December, April, January, September, March, November, February, and May.
Twenty-six police and more on campus plus a squad of CSTs and they couldn't solve the problem. Nor did they catch the fighters. A few students were arrested, expelled, or suspended for their affiliation with the gang or involvement in one of the other smaller unrelated fights. According to my friend, one could barely hear themselves talk in the office due to the walkie-talkies that rang with fight reports every .5 seconds. I can almost imagine three fights happening at once in the intersection between hall two and the 60s.
We went to visit our old school and they wouldn't let us in because our lockdown...
Honestly though, twenty six policemen, and they could barely do a thing. Reminds me of the Blues Brothers.
