Well, today I didn't feel up like DMing the day's session.
I left it to my bro to open up his adventure.
It was really surreal at first, but it became quite cool after a while, since all the other players aren't accustomed to a beginning like that... In short, we all lived in a ho-hum, regular, no-magic world and suddenly, we all died. Our world just got eaten up by some giant metaphysical maw and it was by our will alone, that we managed to pull ourselves out of oblivion. Then we were told that our force of personality was the reason we were once more alive (in the broadest sense of the word).
After being instructed on how to be, we were then thrown into battle with part of the creatures that were responsible for the destruction of our world. Off we went to a world were the darkness would strike again, and fell upon a persian/goblinoid city in the middle of a desert storm, quickly being sidetracked into finding some thieves to avoid getting ourselves thrown into jail. sweatdrop
Unfortunately, since my job shift started early today, we had to leave in a cliffhanger *OHNOES!!11* gonk gonk
Well, Hien and Peshk adapted to the rules quickly. Tyro made a mess with his combat rules... ugh The system is meant to be as simple as possible, and the resident gnome just had to go and try and mess it up. Oh well... crying Let's hope that on next monday, the game starts getting more into the story! xd
