So I finally decided I was sick of fish, go figure. I eat fish, I cook fish, I fish for fish. I'm sick of fish! So I packed up a few trouts and bass that I didn't eat, grabbed the money I scavaged, put on my freshly washed outfit and headed into town.
Everything was so busy! I almost got pushed down from people walking down the street. But when I sold the fish to a vendor, I was happy enough to take anyone pushing me down. I had a lot of money, enough to stay the night in a decent bed, one not made of leaves.
So I went on a little shopping trip. Got a pair of tight black pants, a black silk shirt, and a pair of jolly boots. I looked like a pirate! I wanted a pair of gold hoops and a jacket to go with it, but I couldn't afford it. I'll save up. Maybe one day I could be a pirate! And I'll sleep, and eat, and live on the waves.
Well, after I shopped (I also bought some decent rations in case I travel some more), I looked around for a nice, but cheap inn. As I was walking I got mixed up and ended up in the bad part of town. I found an inn called the sliced barnacle. It looked terrible but the perfect hangout for ruffians and bandits and maybe...pirates on leave?
Well, as I stood outside, someone came banging out, drunk obviously, he was being dragged out by a man that looked very familar. As the man threw the drunk out into the street, I realized it was that guy I meet just yesterday.
He turned back to go into the inn, and just as he did someone tugged at my pocket. I whipped around to shout at the pickpocket, and as I did that guy noticed me. Well, it ended up with him chasing down the scamp that had tried to steal from me and forcing him to apologize. Then he addressed me.
"Hi, um, I'm Lyon," he said with a blush.
I glanced down at my feet unsure of what to say to someone so attractive, "I'm Iya. Iya Memora."
"That's a pretty name."
"Thank you."
Someone inside the inn shouted "Lyon."
Lyon bowed to me then rushed inside the edgy establishment, and I wondered how could someone so...wonderful work at such a place.
But despit my uneasiness, I payed for a room at the Sliced Barnacle. And even now I'm sitting in my room, hoping that he'll be the one to serve me supper.
heart
Goodnight.
