had dnd again this weekend i was really tired from the roller rink fur meet the night before but ill probably do a different post for that
after defeating the mantis we joined a caravan to keep warm from blizzard we did since motive and our cleric as usual is calling her racist for asking us where we are from cus our clothes don't look like the are from around here.
we tell her we are family from a famous traveling circus and she obliges to feed us and let us camp with them the wizard sets alarms around the encampment in case someone or something with ill intent enters camp my character falls asleep immediately and i thought the other characters would go to sleep too but wes says in middle of night the alarm goes off just for us though not carvan and then mike says if its hostile it goes off if its a bunny or something thats not hostile it wont so wes says alarm doesn't go off so mikes like lets decide who keeps watch and i'm like i though after you set alarm you went to bed have fallen asleep but hes like i never SAID i went to sleep so my characters the only one sleeping during the event
a lady comes into the encampment and all the characters are awake exept me im like is anyone going to wake me and everyone's like naaaa im like great its like the pixie dust again im going to sleep threw everything lol
luckly they eventually nudged me away the lady that came to encampment was seeking shelter from the cold and she said she was a bard i think it was morning by now cus one of npcs was up called lillian i think and when the lady that invaded the camp came in and asked us who we were lillan intruded us and said oh this is my cuzin to wizard and thats his brother the snow frog and his wife the genie and the cleric gene chimed in and our pet monkey lol me she then said dont mind them they are like our dog lol
the bard says i'ld like to lighten the mood of everyone and play some music so my character took a trained skill in dance so has plus 4 to dance cus of being in the circus i was so happy to use this skill all together rolled a 22for that and added flips in acrobatics and got a 26 my acrobatics is better than dance then the cleric threw a snow ball at me so i threw a snow ball back lol
then the bard introduces herself as meriuel like form courage the cowardly dog show and my character fell in love with her cus she loved her music the cleric when i was sleepin also offered to share her bed roll with her lol almost forgot so we were kinda both hitting on the npc i rolled to smell her hair stealthily my stelth is a plus 2 lol i was able to smell her hair with out her noticed but then lillian noticed and so i acted like i was pulling a bug out of her hair and i at it cus you know......im a monkey lol
then i gave her a playing card the ace of hearts with my name on it and she singed one of my cards if phone numbers where a thing i might hav gotten her phone number lol
we continued on the journey when there were suddenly swarms of birds above us and of COURSE i went second last and of CORUSE i failed my save so my eyes got pecked out but after that was my turn and i obliterated the birds to smithereens but there were two other swarms
i sit there the rest of the time screaming MY EYES MY EYES untill another last one comes over behind me to attack my friend the rougue frog next to me i swing and i miss but luckly the team pulls threw and and kills the rest of the birds of and the cleric rolled a one and dropped there moring star it hit the egal summon of the wizard and killed it but it was a summon any ways but if i saw that i woudl have teasd the jin cleric about it cus they keep calling me their pet dog and teaseing me for accediently punching myself during a roll i rolled a nat one......the wind was strong ok?!
luckly the carivan heals my eyes and we go to town they want us to go to tower first to kill where the birds are circling and hopfully kill the witch there but we want to sell our goods
i befriend the children by acting like a silly monkey dancing doing flips and acing silly when who other than the cleric throws a snowball at me also the viligers are afraid of the wizard cus he might be a witch so the cleric says ya hes a witch lol and monty python and the holy grail scene ensues theres where we left it so far.
