though I got into using Kyoko more often.

Kyoko was one of the few pack members to stay behind
when the rumors of jewel shards at the castle first surfaced.
When she heard news of the killings,
she left for the castle, and met Naraku.
He led her to believe that Inuyasha and Kouga had done the slaughtering,
and offered to help her avenge her fellow pack-mates.
She and Kouga were childhood friends,
and she thinks of him as an older brother.
