--You thought this was going to be dirty! Well, it's not. =P In fact, though it will be discussing it, it will still not be dirty. So ha again.
I think this society (America's and perhaps the whole world's) places sex, its appeal, and its pleasure far too high up above everything else. In our advertisements, our women and men are models that have been Photoshopped to look flawless, not to mention hours spent on picking out specific clothing, hairstyles, and make-up. Little to no imperfection is shown on something that is either given a glance or stared at by, I guess weirdos.
Pornography is something I despise and wish destroyed. It's gross, disgusting, and I fully believe that the act of sex or nakedness (displayed in that way thanks to human vanity) should not be generalized. It should be secret, really, kept in the bedroom and not for sale to strangers that will be gawking over your every movement and word, scripted or not. And this is not reaction formation going on here with me.
Besides the form, shape, and look of the body, I mentioned clothing. Especially clothing, I think. Victoria Secret lingerie and the sort are on billboards, in magazines, and posted on the internet...'Nuff said. *<---at this point, I couldn't think of anything else to rant about*
