Days on Destiny: 3 hours
Even I...

I arrived on an ancient space craft 3 hours ago that actually had people surviving on it. Though they're not very prepared, they're hanging in there.

Less that 12 hours ago, Draco and I were getting ready to embark on a mission we expected to be alone on. We had been learning the useful skills necessary to do so for the past 6 years and just recently have we realized that we had. As I studied to be a mechanical engineer, Draco learned to be a surgeon. What's funny, though, is that we both looked over the material the other was studying, learning. We were both well rounded not only in both subjects, but almost every aspect of the wizarding world as well.

That was, until we were notified of what we were apart of. Suddenly, we were always on the run. Though the Society we were now entangled with was helping, Draco and I did our best to stay out of site and out of mind. That got harder. We ended back up in England, retracing our steps towards our old school: Hogwarts. We hiked the train track we were surprised had lasted. When we got to the castle, though, it was nearly starved of magic.

They were waiting for us, though. Somehow, someone knew we were going back to Hogwarts, back to the Room of Requirements, and they had set up an ambush. We raced through the eerie halls, avoiding getting killed, to the Room of Requirements. There, we found the Stargate.

The ring activated on its own and I was able to get through. Draco, however, didn't get through. I doubt he would show himself now if he could or had made it on. It's too risky. The non-magic folk here are.....nice, I guess.

There's Colonel Everett Young, the man in charge of an odd ball of a group from what I've been told. He's an American military officer and has this air of calm and control around him but I can tell it's just a mask. I grew up, lived with, and fell in love with a man that had the same air about him. I doubt the mask will last much longer.

Then there's Dr. Nicholas Rush, the lead scientist. He's been rather kind, if not a bit harsh, when talking. He has very little patience for people that don't understand and seemed quite intrigued when I answered a question I was sure he expected me to not get. There's something between him and Everett that I can't put my finger on quite yet but I'll figure it out.

Then there's the medic, Lieutenant Tamara "TJ" Johansen. She's really nice and is very gentle. She worries way too much and takes on a burden she shouldn't have to, being the only trained medic on the team. She appeared grateful that I knew what I was talking about when it came to the medical terms. She seemed eager to talk to me as well but Everett put his foot down.

I'm not sure what to expect from the American military personnel from another planet, to be honest. Young Eli Wallace has been kind enough to offer a KINO for me to use as a personal video diary. Eli's a smart kid and very sweet. Nicholas doesn't praise him enough for what he does. The kid's taking on all the other responsibilities that Nicholas can't bear. He also likes to talk, thus how I know this.

I better get offline, now. Everett's bound to come back and TJ is getting a little annoyed with the KINO.
